Creative = For Shame

I am just waiting for my details to be confirmed so that i can post Abuse. What a bunch of no good ***** & to put a stop to a dude that is helping there customers is Scandalous. Should have give the Dude a job, Not give him crap.
 
Ugh god I've just installed their lastest drivers for Vista 64, wish me luck.

And I totally agree, as some of the posts indicate in the link they've totally shot themselves in the foot. Idiots.
 
I got banned many years ago for the hastle with Audigy 2 ZS (snap, crackle,pop) esp on DVD-Audio.

They dont like the truth, I just promoted the YouP-Pax drivers and eventually that Lesbo CAT banned me.

I Mailed Head Office in Asia and got it removed and I think she got in trouble as she was way over the top with all members who dared to say their Cards were badly supported.

I assume this because she never ever bothered me again.

Anyhow I eventually just never bothered signing in again once I seen many peeps being banned.

I just used Modded driver packages till I got a X-FI.

They banned my buddy Classic_Leon, (makes drivers with YouP-Pax) and also, Melloware (makes the Remote Control APP better than Creatives) is no longer welcome but the funny thing is the "X-FI Mode Changer" makers is allowed and has a very long thread in the Creative Forums.

If you even post anything negative you will be on your way to a ban.

bloody morons. people are filing complaints and rightfully so, creative deserve to get burried in this after openly admitting they are holding back features in vista.
 
Wow.

I've been using this guys drivers, they're a godsend on Vista and have enabled things that for reasons-unknown Creative refused to provide. This guy proved that X-Fi features & software worked on Audigy cards, and Creative have shown their true colours by moaning about it. Basically they're saying that they want people to upgrade for no other reason than to give them more money when their existing cards are otherwise fit for purpose. Outrageous.
 
Creative shoot themselves in the foot again. Whilst I can understand there argument to an extent.

Whilst it takes years to design cards etc. and the money that goes into making them. You would think that with the time and money spent you would be able to at least make a working product before it goes retail, its just common sense surely, I am sure they themselves as individuals would not buy a half-arsed product.

Its always dissapointing to see a company alienate its customers who can seemingly do creatives own jobs better than them. Its a shame that a lot of companies will not take the SDK and Source kits route, at the end of the day they will just end up losing a customer base due to their own incompetance(sp?) to build a working product.
 
They should have just done a nVidia where modified drivers are released by 3rd parties and modders several times a month and be in everyone's good books!
 
Creative WILL tell you that the forums are for the users to help one and other and are not for Offical Creative support.

Thats the reason they will use to ban you if you keep posting their Hardware/Software/Support is bad.

Been there and done it and got the T Shirt.

Nvidia dont support modded drivers, and even threatened NGO months ago.

I support the Modders and they fix issues that the Vendor dont seem able to but its actually ilegal, the same as if you mod one file in your Windows like using Nlite.
 
My SB Live had stuttering sound, blooming annoying. CL are cocky as they know got a monopoly in gaming. Even if the driver support is terrible.
 
I don't care if they ban me as my first post is my last post. I will never ever need another thing off creative as long as I live & i will slate them every single chance i get.

As said, use line out to a headphone amp, if you need another line out some have dual sets of RCA outputs so not losing anything. I use headphones but instead of getting the X-Fi front panel or the flagship Xi-Fi just bought a Hi-Fi amp with headphone amp.
 
Man that's terrible. I don't have any issues with my X-Fi and/or Drivers. For me, it works ok. But that attitude stinks and I think next time I upgrade, I may just be inclined to remember this thread and spend my money on a rival companies product.
