Aaaargh! I can't believe it went down to the last ball. how are England's openers so crap? I can't believe that Bopara and Nixon had to save the innings, what a fine performance from them. Shame Bopara couldn't get the boundary on the last ball.
 
What an awesome victory by the Sri Lankans, :eek:, last ball bowled Bopara:p...Bloody hell what a game..:eek:.

Tell you one thing these Sri Lankans are fast becoming my odds on faves to take this WC, after all they are the only asian country left so i wouldnt mind seeing them win it. Plus they should have really beaten the SA in that other tight match.

Well done to them for managing to sneak that win, would have thought the Sri Lankans would have steam-rolled England but it was a nice tight finish..something that doesnt happen very often. Actually thought that England would have won the game but i guess too much pressure when its the last ball of the innings...

Actually i wouldnt be too sure, the Aussies look formidable but their bowling attack is suspect...Aussies will definitely have to score well over 300 if they want to beat England.
 
Absolutely gutted, although we were never going to make the semi's in my book, I'm pretty impressed that we came so close against Sri Lanka.
 
I think England are a very good team. The only weak link is that useless opening pair and to a lesser extent Bell at #3. We bat nicely down to #7 and the bowling looks pretty sweet. Mahmood finally looking like a bowler.
