Critically evaluate the argument that psychology is a science ?

But if you cant remember your birth how are you going to remember your death?

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...........

That was my point? You kind of wont remember your death? You wont remember anything after you are dead? Your memories will cease to exist when you do.

“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self, so therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.” - Kahlil Gibran

Very applicable to you. It's fine to be dark and gloomy but it doesn't last.

I'm not dark and gloomy it is merely your interpretation of what I wrote that drew you into your own illusionary evalutation of the psychological situation you found yourself in after absorbing my post.

All of this is good for the OP however.

Nope, I read it carefully. "Science is the single point of destruction of all things that make us human" is the silly gloomy part. You'll get over it with time.

Can you prove it or are you just telling me what you can remember and what you cant, if so, what existed outside of your memories you or the world?

Guys am guessing I need to explain both sided of the argument, while some people consider it a science amd others do not ?

Look up what critically evaluate means, I can not remember for sure but I think it wants you not only to evaluate both sides of the argument (which I think any "essay" type wants you to do) but also to include studies made on the subject and give you view on it.

Haha, back on topic.

Yes, you do. You need to give an objective, informed evaluation supported with relevant evidence and testimony as to why the argument that Psychology should be regarded as a Science or a pseudo-Science.

You will have to consider the arguments put forth for each argument and evaluate both to reach a decision and give valid reasons for that decision.

What is the actual full question?

What do you remember about your life before birth? Or about your 'past lives'?

Nothing right? Where would your memories be stored exactly after you have died?

What happens to people's memories when they get diseases like Alzheimer's or other mental conditions that can impair their memory / brain function? They begin to lose them as the brain wastes away or becomes less functional.

I wrote a sentence and you assumed it was gloomy, how does that apply to me and how is it "silly"?

Lay off the trolling, it has nothing to do with the OP. All you are doing is taking this off topic and encouraging Bhavv to get all heated up and bent out of shape again. It's not good for his disposition..:p

Its a pretty easy question to answer tbh

I'm not trolling I bought my first PC in bits off here in 2008 I just havent bothered posting or subscribing to this forum, I like the forum now I found it, your all cool, but these are just my opinions

"Science is the single point of destruction of all things that make us human"

Destruction of all things that makes us human. For starters that sentence is incorrect. Or so vague that is rather pointless.

My friendly you were clearly looking for attention for uttering something that is perceived as a gloomy and dark way to describe science, I knew you'd be a type that'd blame it all on interpretation.

Don't pretend you do not enjoy this attention ;)

I dont get time to post here mate, I wish I did, I just am too busy, I wish I wasent

Edit: Im not looking for attention or I would type this all day everyday, but science attempts to prove what is theory, so in theory (outlawed by science) what use is a world where every single element of existance is understood and factualised.
