Crossfire :(

@Matt, I just have a ccc profile over ride for fifa 13 that disables crossfire :)

@shanks, will give that a whirl tonight!! :D

Try 12xHQ-24xHQ Edge Detect, Super sampling. Super sampling renders all the pixels at a much higher res then down samples them so it really helps when you have crappy graphics like fifa. :D

I disable vsync via fifa control panel and AA. Then i use this fifa profile in ccc.

Then i use radeonpro to create a fifa profile, enable vsync in that to always on, no triple buffering and i don't touch flip queue either. This gives 100% smooth gameplay and good gpu usage on both gpu's.

Apologies for the triple post, but check out that gpu usage.

Not bad as normally its at 0% with crossfire and vsync at 1440p max details.

I know what the OP means, some people are just more sensitive to the sort of stutteryness that dual cards can produce. Even with all the above fixes you may still find you notice it. While others will not see it..

The only real way to fix it in this case is to grab the best performing single GPU your budget will allow.

I know personally that when I went from using dual 7970's to a single 670 4GB it was a smoother experience. Now I'm on dual 7950's and am just accepted / accustomed with the occasional stutteryness, I can notice now and again, Vsync really helps. It's not bad enough for me to switch cards just yet, as these 7950's are best bang for buck around, also new drivers (July) may fix it altogether, if not i'll use these up until the HD 8970 / GTX 880 are released and go back to single card..

Its in Teamspeak and skype lol just cuts off. going to try reinstalling headset drivers

Worth a shot. I had to roll back to an earlier version of Logitech Gaming Software as the latest version kept causing my g35's game volume to change when alt tabbing or when a scene would change in a game. Going back to an older version fixed it.

Make sure you have your mic properly set in windows and TS as the default capture device. It has been known to change itself on occasion.

Something with Crossfire :( I have disabled that and everything is good. Enable it and mic and audio cuts off USB headset.

Bf3 runs horrible on Crossfire and very smooth on one gpu. Starting to think this crossfire was waste of time now.

Very happy with the display though. :(

Ok sound issue I think was down to Driver 13.6 beta 2. Installed driver 13.4 and its worked fine so far.

But!
BF3 I think the issue I getting is Micro stutter Both GPU read 98% and 100% thats good right?

This with both running 900/1375... So what should I do to make bf3 run smooth lol

How come you're not using 2 crossfire bridges?

I'd also overclock your GPUs a bit, I suspect they might have boost BIOSes.

You should managed 1050 with both GPUs no problem.

I should be using two bridges? Thought you just connect the one to one.

Edit
Mic still switches of with crossfire enabled. madness. been running 1000/1500 just turned it down while i try fig out whats going on.

Don't need to use 2 crossfire bridges between the cards, the whole point of the cards having multiple crossfire connectors is to give the option to add a third and a fourth card if need be.

What settings are you using in battlefield 3 with regards to vsync, fps limiters, ULPS, flip queue size, etc?

If you have 1 gpu on 100% that tells me ULPS is not disabled.

Where is the reg edit for ULPS? I will disable it that way because I have removed trixx and now using msi AB but I can't find the ULPS.

BF3 is all High settings
120fps limit
tried flip 1 and 2 and default

Game runs horrible, switch it to single GPU and everything just works including mic and audio.

Why would Crossfire mess up my audio and mic switching them off?

I suspect the audio drivers are somehow messing with your mic in windows. Try doing a driver sweep as per the AMD thread. Reinstall the drivers but choose custom install and untick the HDMI drivers so they don't install. Use 13.6 beta 2 with cap 13.5.

Make sure you're using Beta 10 of afterburner. Disable ULPS is under settings, copy these settings.

You need to restart the pc after ticking disable ULPS.

Are either of your cards boost cards with a stock voltage of 1.25v?
