CRT recommendation

Thanks again for all the replies lads :) I'm getting my paypal account sorted so I can order off the bay :)

Didn't read it all as i'm short on time but if you can source a fw900 its one hell of a monitor. I have a p1220 and love it although i will be getting a flat screen in the near future. I have really enjoyed the p1220 amazing image quality and resolution.

I actually wondered about your choice as nothing is happening, I used to test in games with say " lots of baddies infront of me and me running with a torch lit in big area
Actually the save doesn't really matter, it was more about the percentage increase over my system. Benchmarks in other games suggest the GTX is 30-50% quick than a GTS depending on the game, and the Ultra another 5-10% ontop of that, and another 10% for your GPU overclock. So with my system getting 34 fps under DX10 I was expecting yours to get maybe 60 fps tops. 84 fps is another 40%

Oh well, you live and learn :) My apologies for making you prove it.

I had a Mitsubishi Diamond Plus92 and now the same 230SB as above, there is only 1 better than it and thats the Pro model.

Do you use NaviSet (adjust all controls and more than you can do on bittons on Monitor) and the Brightess Tool (lets you darken a Media Players console but does not alter the actual movies settings, good for night viewing) ?

I ordered up the P1130 a few days ago :) 45 quid delivered, not too bad :) I will post back my thoughts when she arrives.

Thanks once again to everyone that replied :D

if you can source one, then the LaCie 22" is the dogs bits.

I use 2 for Photoshop editing (yes, the desk is reinforced!).

Trouble is, I bought them new, and so paid an immense price for them.

Still, wouldn't swap them for anything else though. Will be a few years before TFT can match the quality/Price ratio of a decent CRT.
