Crucial Anniversary: The results

I've had a good start with this ram :)

Running 2GB at the moment @ 425 (850) @ 3-3-3-8 1T @ 2.3V

Impressive stuff!

At 425 I can get 4-3-3-8-1T but it won't run 3-3-3-8 for me at that even with humunga-volts.
Hi tastyweat, it looks like you got luckier than quite a few people within this topic, some sticks better than others when fully stretched to the limit.

Did you run Orthos Blend? any errors? :)

Can anyone else also aquire the same results?

I ran the slow mem test built into the motherboard - that passed fine 0 errors.

Haven't run orthos

Will do some more tweaking this weekend and post screenies :)

Just as a 'baseline' for people, the Crucial memory running at a modest 400MHz (DDR800) 4-4-4-12 using 1.8vDimm. It's on an upward divider so not sure if thats the same as actually running it 1:1? but I'm guessing it is. Not bad for such low volts, I hope to get into the 3-3-3 testing soon! . . .

I changed the timings from 4-4-4-12 (1.8vDimm) to 3-3-3-8 (also 1.8vDimm) still 400MHz (DDR800).

1.80v = No Boot
1.85v = No Boot
1.90v = No Boot
1.95v = No Boot
2.00v = No Boot
2.05v = No Boot
2.10v = Boot but freeze at BIOS splash screen
2.15v = Boot but errors in MemTest86 Fast!
2.25v = Boot + Run Memtest86 Overnight 100% Pass! :D

Can you run windows memtest at that speed/voltage?

Hope the ocz plat rev 2's i have coming are decent :/
They should be, I think they use different chips.

The board actually overvolts by 0.05v, giving 2.3v when set to 2.25v.

EDIT: Wayne, my current RAM is not happy above 1000Mhz, even with 2.3v.

Tried what?

sorry, re-reading it makes no sense to me either :p just come back from a night out and then a few hours in with a lovely lady ;)

i think i just had a dodgy board, as the new one is working fine.

i tried doing 1:1 400FSB with stock volts at 4-4-4-12 and the board just totally died. no beeps or anything, replacement works fine and i'm on the F8 bios which is essentially the DS3 F10 bios.

Woah! Just noticed something in Wayne's pictures. Both have done 38 passes, but the 3-3-3-8 timings have sped it up by 6 hours!
Classic, I thought it was hammering through the testing quickly! :D

Didn't notice the exact time difference there myself, thanks for the clarifaction! ;)
