Crying at films

I cry all the time at films. Even parts where most people wouldn't find it sad , I think its due to my high levels of empathy.

independence day, flying his plane into the aliens laser to destroy it saving america and the world, ending his life and leaving his son with no father, so brave :(

Hmmm, end of "The Killing Fields" when Schanberg goes back for Pran.

End of "Ghost" is pretty sad.

And I can't beleive that no-one has mentioned when Goose dies in Top Gun :(

And yes I am gay:

Cry all the time. Even King Kong made me blub ffs and it's not like I didn't know what was going to happen!

THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST LEFT HIM ALONE!!! :P

I can't recall having full on wept due to a film, but I well up reguarly.:o It's good though, I like welling up, it means I'm watching something thats affective and generally well put together, unless of course it makes me cry due to it being unwatchable tripe.:(

Toy Story 3 was the closest I've been, but I didn't.

I'm no stranger to odd cinematic blub, but this is one that I just didn't get.

I saw tons of people on Facebook for example saying about how Toy Story 3 got them good, but I didn't really get any of that from it at all? Quite strange how things touch us differently.

A bunch of us were watching Crash at work in the crew room and one of the guys welled up when the little girl jumps in front of the 'bullet'. **** me he got ripped :D

I cried while watching the end of the film 'A.i. Artificial Intelligence' when he gets to spend one day with his 'mum'. I think it was Ben Kingsley doing the voice over that tipped me over the edge.

Watching Australia brought tears to my eyes at quite a few points. I don't know if it was the music but I thought it was a really nice story.

I was 13 when Toy Story came out, and it has been one of my favourites films since.

The 15 year gap between the first and the third makes the overall theme of ageing, change and moving on all the more poignant. Plus it was the end of an era, so to speak.

I was the same age, and I totally understood the theme and how the series was moving on in that regard.

It just didn't have any major emotional effect on me. I guess I'm not a particularly nostalgic person, tbh.

Yeah I'm a film blubber. Odd because I don't find some RL situation sad :/ Then again I also get sad at bits that aren't sad it's odd and I cannot explain it. Classic example is Spirited Away.
