Crying at films

Yes! Although the bit that got me was when he meets his son, this bit:

Jenny Curran: His name's Forrest.
Forrest Gump: Like me.
Jenny Curran: I named him after his daddy.
Forrest Gump: He got a daddy named Forrest, too?
Jenny Curran: You're his daddy, Forrest.

Forrest Gump: As above
Green Mile: Can't remember when
Monsters Inc: At the end when Sully goes to see Boo again
Cars:  I can't remember when I think its the end - the only film to make me laugh and cry. :p

I am a girl so allowed! Ha! :D

Honestly I swear its happening to me aswell, well up at anything remotely sad now. I was bubbling at rewatching atlantis when Carson died and the futurama episode with frys dog was so sad I was actually shedding tears and up had me with a tear in my eye at the start aswell.

Last year went to pictures with a few girl mates from work and had to play the "something in my eye" line during the film Definitely, Maybe.. what is wrong with me lol :(

I might be one of a few but i think Stargate does deaths/emotional moments suprisingly well and they certainly gave me a lump in my throat and a manly tear at times.

SPOILERS

With Carson It was just so out of the blue, you think he's scott free then 'poof' he's gone. His memorial at the end with Weir talking and all the other characters carrying the coffin through the gate is heart wrenching.
edit: i just noticed my unintentional pun there lol.
- Martoufs death, it was just cruel and unexpected.
- Daniel Jacksons death, in fact that entire episode gives me a lump in my throat everytime i see it. Some fantastic character moments there.
-In Heroes Part 2 when you're lead to believe its O'Neill thats dead then you find out who really died, and carters speach afterwards.
-Oneill's goodbye at the end of Lost City when hes frozen in stasis.
-The death of Jacob Carter/Selmak
- The Final episode when they're stuck on the ship, you know its all going to turn out ok but its depressing to watch

I am like the OP, i'm now 41 and Its just not films that make me shed the odd tear. I shed a few for doctor who the other night.

What a PUFF!

Nah...

Almost cried at Marley & Me :'(

what's that film about bob marley?

i did shed a small tear at schindler's list.

but generally nothing gets me blubbering although i must say the programme on channel 4 about the tsunami had be blubbering the sheer devastation and loss of life in the space of a couple of minutes is hard to comprehend.

Band of Brothers for sure especially the last episode. After watching the interviews at the end we then spent 3 hrs on google looking the charactures up. They have a Forum

The one that got both myself and the mrs balling our eyes out was a reality show about a hospital.

There was an old man with stomach pains waiting to see a specialist after having a scan. The specialist said that part of his bowell/intestine had died because of a blood clot. The surgeon could operate but doubted that he could get the old man off the operating table alive.

He then told the old man that he would send him upstairs and make his last few days as comfortable as possible.

The old man told the cameraman that at least he had survivd the war unlike many of his friends and he had a good life but its his time.

I couldnt believe the courage of this guy and we were balling our eyes out.

Ok about to go put Goodfellas on now then watch Top gear.... Must refill Testosterone.

Just watched this on 4oD. Not shed a tear for quite some time but this got me too. My 7 year old lad is quite puzzled and concerned right now as he has never seen his dad shed a tear!
