Probably the horrific lag in this game! It usually takes one to the head or two to the body but I think it's more if they've got their armour switched on.

Same even with no armour - I even have a fully upgraded perk which stabalises the shot - I shoot them normally upper torso, then again - and no death... one was stealthed but I had the visor enhancement which shows thier outline, hit in chest 3 times, and alive?!
Switch to SCAR/Feline and they drop in a couple of shots...
Weird.

Bah I ranged quit on this earlier. Stuck on a section which is really annoying as every time I respawn it isn't re-adding all the weapons. Some times there are 2 rocket launchers sometimes one and a few times it hasnt been there full stop!

Wasn't going to bother with a super soldier play but I have nothing else to play. Wow it's super easy with the equipment carrying over. Almost done 9 levels in 1hr 53 minutes, maybe less. I know my Easy playthough took me over 10 hours.
In that I was trying to kill everything, you can skim round the outside of everything in this cloaked and do multiple levels without firing a shot.

Any idea how close I am to the end of the game? I'm just protecting some people in the subway, it's right after you blow that building up with the blue neon sign.
Got a while to go. Crytek decided not to be like literally every other FPS developer ever and actually give us a lengthy single-player campaign. You're probably a little bit past half way.

Tried for an hour an half to do that section did it first time today. The bit after is pretty sweet

Completed it now.
Once I started fighting the aliens I knew I wanted to save for the enhanced stealth and as soon as I got enough points for it the game became incredibly easy. I know you can play the game whatever way you like but the way I played it was just ridiculously simple. Stealth, run past enemies, hide in corner, recharge energy, stealth, run past enemies, hide in corner, recharge energy, stealth...
In fact I only even killed the last five enemies in the game because I'd spent the rest of the level running past things in stealth mode. I think the last 5 or 6 chapters I only actually killed the enemies that the game forced me to, like the Pinger. The story wasn't particularly good either, in fact, I thought it was quite poor. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game, I might even start a new campaign tomorrow to get some of the odd achievements that I missed, but it's not one that I would play for it's engrossing or intelligent story because as far as I'm concerned there wasn't really one there.
I didn't play the first Crysis game to completion so perhaps I'm missing a few things here and there but on the whole it felt like they were being deliberately vague just so they can release Crysis 3 in a years time.

Still haven't finished it yet but know exactly what you're saying about stealth then hide (rinse and repeat) I got bored of that so decided to just the Terminator alternative of armor > kill > hide like a girl while energy recharges and repeat.
I never played the first crysis so any references to the old one no matter how dubious are all wasted on me. I've been enjoying it just not properly following what's going on. A bit because it's vague and unclear and partially because at times they start talking to you while something more pressing is happening on screen so I just blank it out. Once done I'll harvest a few achievements and then it'll get traded in I think. Loving some of the set pieces in it though

Yeah it's a great action game but I think that's as far as it goes.
I'll probably finish off the achievements and then trade it in for CoD.

I agree, I'm on the super soldier playthrough and it's taken me less than 3 hours to do 11 levels. If you played this game as a stealth game it's actually very short. Takes me about 15 minutes or less per level.
They overdid the stealth enhance, while just about all the other nano suit enhancements are rubbish.
Finished on super soldier and TBH I died less on SS than on recruit. Areas I thought would be hard on SS like the pingers and cloaked enemies where just as easily killed with the same number of hits.
If I killed more than 30 enemies on my SS playthough I would be amazed.

I'd go for PC then, apparently the PS3 version is graphically weaker than the 360 but if I had a gaming PC still I would've picked it up on PC anyways.
Definitely PC.
I have the PS3 version and was told the 360 version was better but seeing comparison vids there doesnt seem much difference and both consoles are less than 720p
but yeh its a no brainer if you have a pc that can play the game .
Lag seems to make it impossible to kill anybody.
