Crysis 2... Awsome!

Can anyone tell me if you can still go prone? You were only able to crouch in the demo and I used to go prone a lot in Crysis and Warhead as it steadied my aim when using a Sniper Rifle Scope on a different weapon.

Also to those that have played the Multiplayer - has the lag and hit detection been sorted out?

The PS3 version of Crysis 2 has particular idiosyncracies. After playing both console versions, and playing through the same set of levels multiple times on both consoles, it became clear to a number of editors at IGN that the PS3 version is lacking somewhat in comparison to the 360 version of the game. The game still looks great on PS3, but the framerate is less consistent, the resolution is lower (in the neighborhood of 10% lower than the Xbox 360 release), and certain graphical effects and some lighting appear dialed back. In layman's terms, there are more jagged edges in the PS3 version of the game, and things get choppy more often than its 360 counterpart, which hurts controller response.

Was going to Trade in Homefront and Need for Speed Hp for this (Crysis)

just got Homefront and really hate it and done most of Need for speed
hope to complete it for friday

How gd is it on Multiplayer compare to demo
and what is the average complete time in single player

@ HitmanUk - I'm hearing reports of 10-12 hours minimum, so that'll be more like 18-20 for me as I like to explore as much as possible in games and am the sort of person who often stops to admire little touches like wall posters, a can of Soda, lovely wall/floor/scenery textures, a leaking pipe, sunset, stream, insects buzzing around a light, falling leaves, thunderstorm etc and I often find games take me longer because of these reasons as I like to enjoy the immersion of being in the game world and really appreciate little touches like this.

Damm no prone, that sucks. I used to use it all the time to steady my makeshift Sniper Rifle (Assault Rifle set to single shot fire mode with Sniper Scope and Silencer attached) for long range stealth headshots.

Can anyone tell me if the horrible lag and hit detection from the Mp demo has been sorted in the final release?

The guy that said the two originals were two of the best shooters of all time I'm in full agreement with. The variety of ways to tackle your mission, the on-the-fly weapon customisation, obviously the graphics (if your rig could run it without blowing up!), the huge levels, the story and awesome atmosphere. Crysis is my third best game of all time (Warhead is my second). If you don't agree that's cool, its just what I personally think.

Might have to take a gamble and trade Black Ops in for this as I have no interest in the MP of that and this seems to doing a lot better than I expected. I was under the impression it was going to be wholly average but looks like I've been pleasantly proved wrong.

Sticking to PC version here as it looks nicer but really glad about the 12 hour single player campaign

Too many games these days with 5-7 hour SP!

Well, played some more last night, had a huge bug where a loaded checkpoint kept freezing my 360, had to restart the mission again... Was not impressed

Also, the enemies just keep coming, no matter how many you kill, they just keep spawning until you peg it to your next checkpoint. Which I am finding my self doing. And I dislike that...

Other than that, still going strong and enjoying it!
