Crysis 2... Awsome!

You collect nanotech from dead squid aliens. Then hold BACK and choose what you want to spend it on. I couldn't work out how you get it though. I shot three aliens and didn't get any and then meleed one from behind and got 100. So perhaps you only get it from melee kills?

You get it when you walk over their body, if you shoot them you have to collect it from the body.

Crytek arent very good at telling stories are they?

lol What are these aliens?

Where have them come from?

Whats the story behind the nano suits?

It's Crysis 2, the prequel has more of the story...

Unfortunately the sequel still isn't very clear; in fact it completely ignores the original save for two or three references to 'that Lingsham incident' which the game totally refuses to go into any detail with.

The fact that Nomad or Psycho literally get no mention at all is incredibly disappointing. Crysis 2 completely disowns Crysis 1 in every way except the gameplay. It's still better than its predecessor and it should count its lucky stars that the worst thing about it is its inability to answer questions posed by the original.

Yeah, I was walking over them, jumping on them, all sorts. But no nanotech. :(

look around for a 'cloud' of funny black speckles, sometimes its not where the aliens corpse is, sometimes when you shoot them from high vantage points they fall off, etc. but the 'goop' is exactly where you killed them, i think its supposed to be that stuff that spills out of them as they die. the worse weapon for this is the gauss rifle, since it launches them when they get hit so the goop is generally quite a way from their corpse, hope that helps...;)

here is another perspective for you to consider, picture an alien invasion. would we as a race know where they came from? not likely, would we know 'what' they are? again not likely. the story behind the nanosuit I think where I am in the campaign so far is some sort of reverse engineered alien technology or something, though they seem to be semi-organic in nature, they can learn and adapt, things that were never touched upon in the original game. do agree no mention of Psycho or Nomad is pretty terrible mind, would be curious to know what happened to them after they returned to Lingshan Island.

I've been getting nanotech even from aliens I haven't walked over. Game isn't gripping me much yet. I just do a level then log off and come back do a level etc.

I can see once you max out the stealth the hardest level should become easy. I don't like areas of respawning enemies. I picked off a stack near the crashed pod in level 2 and they just kept coming. So I used stealth and just walked past them to the next checkpoint.

Are you the same guy who walked the whole way through the boat level on HL2?

Completed it today (a rarity in itself, so must be doing something right) and would rate it above average.

It's the storytelling and complete lack of character development that lets it down: great setting, great graphics, good gameplay - but no characters to care about or plot. 6.5/10

Just finished the campaign. Was enjoyable although once I had unlocked the 3rd tier stealth upgrade I pretty much breezed past the last couple of levels.

Really good fun. Well worth the purchase. Now to finally jump into multiplayer.

Didn't think to check this myself so is it possible to play through certain levels? It's only for an achievement but I've just realised that I literally just missed an easy one! ¬_¬

I ordered from play.com and it said I got gold dog tags with my pre order ? How do I unlock the gold tags ???

Cheers :)

Anyone else finding the mp annoying? It takes me about 7 bullets to kill someone and only take about 2 for me to die.
