Crysis 2 DX11 Benchmarking - 1080p & 1440p - Green vs Red Team

The sequences never remain static, this isn't a benchmark per-say. Merely a series of commands man inside the sandbox.

It's not really viable as a benchmark :P

I really need to re-run this with my new OC... will give it a go tonight, see if I can give those 580's a run for their money ;) :D

Gents.

I have done some further investigation, looks like the custom AA mode just is not supported by Crossfire and probably never will be.

All future benches need to be run with "0xAA" in the tool.

I have changed the topic.

All previous results will be kept.

Here you go:

MSI HD7850 @ 1225/5800
Intel i5 2500K @ 4.2GHz

Seems AA really doesn't have that much of a performance hit, without it my score is only 3fps different.

My last submission with 4xaa - 1440p as my original result was invalid.

1 x 7970 at 1319/1878. 3.3/51.3 avg.

The new ver of afterburner seems to like picking funny numbers.

Just to start the 2 x 7970 rolling. Two cards @ 1200/1505, 1.3v. 4.5GHZ.

1080p - 14.1/94.6fps
1440p - 12.2/84.9fps

So 1080p scaling is rubbish, 1440p scaling pretty good.

You forgot to add me to the leader board :(

Anyway, here is a new one with no AA.
1080p and 1440p.

It is weird, only a 3-4fps difference using AA :)

GPU-Z verification: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/c9c4/

SLI 470s @ 774/1548/1750 (GPU/Shaders/Memory)
i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz (forgot to re-enable turbo boost to put it at 4Ghz but shouldn't make much difference)

Trifire performance on this is pathetic, like 60% of each gpu being used with the 11.2 drivers, cant be bothered swapping drivers around to see if any others run it better.

11.2 are really really old...

Yes but thats the only driver i can find where battlefield 3 actually scales well with 3 gpu's. That being said they should be new enough to have the crysis 2 profiles for crossfire included, apparently they don't.

I'm probably being a simpleton but how do you set 2560x1440 as your resolution? I can only find 2560x1600. :S
