Where do I find the crysis2.exe? Looked in all the game folders and can't find it.
Am I looking in the right place?

I'm not sure how many fps I'm getting, but the game plays perfectly fine for me. Playing on extreme with 1920x1080 resolution. No noticable lag or flickering and I'm pretty far through the game.

Got it through Steam if that matters.

It's playable for me too through my Steam copy, i'm just not happy with the fact i have 30 FPS constant due to the fact it's not as demanding as the 1st Crysis, and i got around the same FPS on Crysis 1, as well as, i'm running a 5970&5870 in tri-fire.

Hi Chaps ! Im running a 5970 and got insane flickering with all Cataclysts. Its smooth now though after rename the exe to bioshock 2 !

Completed it on normal and loved the game ! Not sure why its getting such bad rep from some gamers. If you love sci fi action games, this is the one for you

does the r_MultiGPU=1 command not work anymore, because the first game doesn't use Multi GPU setups unless you tell it too as far as I know, when I played through it last time with my 4870X2 it said 'single GPU' in the console info display, then I enabled multi GPU through my custom settings and it ran sooo much better, weirdly enough more than double the framerate, not sure how that happened...? :confused:

so yeah, try to make an autoexec for your Crysis II and put the line r_MultiGPU=1 in it, if the command is still there (which it should be because Cryengine3 is basically Cryengine2 more or less) then it should enable both your GPUs.

If it's the retail / disc version, then rename crysis2.exe to fear.exe or bioshock.exe.

This wil disable crossfire atm until ATi fix this.

If it's the steam version, download the latest Catalyst Application Profiles from here :

I've got the latest profiles, but because im running 11.4 i dont think they apply

Download Radeon Pro and set the crossfire profile, in the tweaks tab, to Bioshock.

Remember and set Steam as the launcher, in the launcher tab.

The author added an enable / disable multi gpu option in the latest version.

No idea if it works or not though, as I'm not running crossfire atm.
