Crysis 3 CONFIRMED!

I was rather disappointed with Crysis 2. It felt too much like a console game. Crysis 1 and Warhead were so much better. If they went back to the original feel, I think it would be a much better game.
 
News there for all the people who didn't read interviews with them all those years ago in the original Crysis when it was said to be part of a trilogy then?
 
Inb the OP's link, it mentioned that the Crysis 3 box art appeared on Origin. Is it normal for this to happen so early in a game's development? Surely if Crysis 3 is coming, it's got to be a couple of years away.
 
Crysis 2's story was MEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH, and the graphics actually looked worse than Warhead.

I will wait for this one to become cheap before I buy!
 
Crysis was great.

Warhead was superb.

Crysis 2 was OK, but not Crysis. Had they released it under a different IP it makes for a pretty passable console ported shooter. It's very CoD in a Sci-Fi setting. I found that Crysis 2 was terrible if you sat with keyboard and mouse and tried to play it like a PC game. But plug an Xbox controller in, sit back and play it like a casual console shooter its not half bad.

What Crysis 2 did do was utterly ruin the storyline set up in Crysis and Warhead, and for that I can not forgive them :(
 
I found the story in crysis 2 interesting enough, especially the ending. From what i seen of the comic story nomad and psycho are still alive so every chance of them returning in crysis 3.

Did you not notice the massive plot holes and it not following on from crysis 1?
 
Not played Crysis 2 (Good thing by the sounds of it) but loved the first and Warhead. I think with the first it was more a woaaahh at the gfx, though the gameplay was still there to an extent.
 
not played crysis 2 and don't plan to. I already have enough console ports on my pc as it is.
 
There was nothing wrong with Crysis 2, compared to some of the FPS on the markets its not bad, that said when you compared it to the 1st game thats when things go wrong. :(

It did in a sense follow on from crysis but they kept mention of it to a minimum so as not to alienate console gamers from the story. Then they ported crysis to console so arsing with the story proved to be a dumb idea. I still found it interesting enough, be interesting to see what happens with crysis 3.
 
if its out on ps3 and xbox360 then sorry im really not interested...

If its for the next gen consoles then im interested
 
Crysis2 was mediocre Crytek should fix that first not make another game which will be another bland console port. Even after DX11 patches Crysis2 still looks average to me & the gameplay is so dated & uninteresting I never bothered completed it.
