There's no dx10 support in the beta.

GFX are all messed up on my system and I have no sound at all, and having not read much about the game I am utterly put off by the BF2-esque availability of better weapons to people who play a lot.

I know it's beta and as such will go look for some updated drivers and then play with settings maybe, has to be said though the weapons thing has put me right off.

its part of the setup,keep playing and it sorts itself out apparently,did on my mates pc,just about to try it on mine

I got a key last night when i install it asks me for the registration code where do you get this? i sent an email to EA asking for the code no response.

He's not talking about the yellow replace me textures. I get artifacts too randomly but sometimes not at all. Alt+tab seems to help at least for a while.

You insert the key you got during the setup.

No that key doesn't work it's the first thing i tried oh hang on i just tried it again seems to work on the 4th attempt.

How fast is it downloading from fileplanet because my place in line is 250 of 2063 and i won't to know how long i will av to wait when it is downloading.

Do not use the torrent it's an old beta just found out the hard way cant connect to any servers.Beta 3 is the one you need.

check for ones that get stuck on today, would be a safer bet than dling ones months old that are quite clearly going to be the old client

Just to be sure i am downloading the right one from fileplanet is it this Crysis_MP_Beta_Release_3.exe is that beta 3 the newest one.

Once your graphic settings are sorted and you can play for a bit, you'll notice that everyone starts each round with the same amount of prestige and thus, the same choice of weapons.

Does anyone have any tips on performance? I'm on a 8800 GTX and AMD X2 4600, yet with most settings on low and some on medium I still get just 30FPS outdoors which I find it hard to play on
