Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

Hmm. I would lower your resolution a bit. Also, Quad Core is not supported in this beta which could contribute to the slow down too.
Aye I wasn't expecting to see any benefit from quad core in the beta, but I can't lower my resolution as it's the native resolution of my monitor and anything else looks bloody awful. :D

I could always try playing it on my TV, that's 1366x768 and I bet Crysis looks gorgeous on a 32" panel.

Guys guys guys! Why are you all panickin about the way the game is running right now?! Its a beta right now and nowhere near the final product! So just dont worry about it and they will obviously sort the engine out before release! It will run fine in direct x 9 with cards like the x1900's etc so no panic  Just enjoy the fact you have the beta which I do not :p I for one look forward to the single player demo which will no doubt be much more polished :)

Minimize the game and then look in the taskbar. The build is from the 13th September.

On the forums, they said that the build we are playing is from August. Even though it says September 13th, its just the release date of that certain build, not the actual date of the build.

I hope that's true, all the bugs we've seen are probably squashed by now if it is. :D

installed the game but cant connect to the servers , console shows this error, also when i exit the game its crashing my display driver.

Ok maybe asking the obvious but have you installed one of the newer drivers? I am using the driver that was released for Bioshock and it's running great, failing that apparantly nvidia have released another driver for Crysis

So why on earth would they give us an old build when most of the bugs have most likely already been found.

I'm using the latest Nvidia driver that came out the other day. :)

Using the latest beta driver released on the 17th

Maybe because the new one isn't ready. They will be releasing patches per new batches of keys if going by what happened last week.

No developer that releases a beta will ever release the newest build that is being used in the studio. They release old ones to test performance and look for bugs that they may have missed.

For some reason, all my graphics turn out white =\
I wasnt able to spend much time on it to optimize, but is anyone experiencing the same problems?

it runs ok but im not impressed and before i get screams of 'Its a BETA!!' yeah i know that ... it brings nothing new to the mp fps and i doubt that the full version will either, BF2/2142 will still be the benchmark game for mass battles and CSS/DODS/TF2 will always be more fun ... nice gfx and map but it reminds me of farcry and that didnt float my boat either

and NO!, its my key get your own
