found some screen shots of high/low settings in the beta and you can certainly tell the difference between them, also low looks pretty good considering its meant for low end hardware.

Not sure whatgfx card shots were taken with by frame rate seems ok(ish)

I have a beta key and have been playin the game and it runs like a dog

how do you gain access to a key with using a BF2 Retail key? Supposedly there was a way and I wanna get a friend of mine on it.

My system specs are E6300 Core Duo 2 CPU @ 2.55ghz
8800GTX 768mb
2GB G Skill PC6400
Gigabye DS4 Mobo ( Rev 1.0 )
Raptor 74GB
2x 500GB WD in Raid 0

this game is running terrible even on basic settings, not sure if more ram is needed? or better cpu or maybe down to the fact that it's just a BETA

my OS is Vista 64bit Ultimate - if this makes a difference>?

I think that BF2 key thing is a scam mate.

After the back dating of the demo I decided to be a Fileplanet subbie, I have my key and what I think is an old version of the beta 1.17GB, question is can I use my key in this version then the 1.40GB version after it has downloaded?

Yes, the key works for both versions.

Thanks m8, cant seem to get into a game though "connection refused" error when I join, could this be due to every-one running the new version and me being on the old?

i just subscribed. it says error the uniquenick provided is incorrect or something. i used the same nick and password to log into that comrade thing and it worked. so i go to the beta forums post my problem and now even the forums arnt working or they have banned me

i don't think he did. no1 had dx10 or ultra high yet, crytek are saving it for the demo/full game!

those pics look just look like high to me.

Its not optimised for Vista yet so runs pretty poor at the moment.

I've just gone from Vista 64 to XP and it's playable - everything on high/1680/no AA.

It's not perfect but it's a lot better than it was.

works now. i wasnt impressed with the graphics. is there something i must enable in the nvidia control panel? im not used 2 nvidia you see. i have everything on high and at 1650 res
