Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

Are they still releasing beta keys to FP subscribers? I am away on business and our damn firewall blocks fileplanet. Can't check it until I get back to the hotel tonight.

I get a lot better performance using XP with the new beta drivers. Probably around 5-10fps difference in places. Makes a very noticeable difference.

Sorry for this question as im sure it has been asked before but i could do with just a quick answer, When this game comes out i belive it will be DX10, however will i be able to play this game on DX9 with a 7950GT?? Or will i need to buy a new GFX card?

Also just watched a trailer of Far Cry 2 - WOW.

Anyway sorry for most probably repeating a question asked many times before!

Ricky.

They're realeasing them in batches. The first batch was only for FP founders members. Not sure if they'll release to regular members for the others or not.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them milk it and try to get more people to upgrade their accounts. I know it worked on me.

My dad is playing it on his Casio calculator as we speak. He says the graphics are awesome but when he presses the x key his Frame Rate sometimes drops to as low as 15FPS. But he said its acceptable to play.

Blame the people that actually pay for demo's and subscribe to sites and pay for things that are free without them this sort of situation wouldn't be happening.

I believe so. People fail to understand this. Plus all the graphical settings arent enabled as they should plus there are bugs.

The game will be amazing.

Lucky for all you people playing already, I'm waiting for the next batch. So we don't get all the graphical goodies yet?

Its DX9 only for the beta. They are releasing a patch soon i think to correct some issues. Hopefully during the next batch of keys. The singleplayer should perform a lot better than this beta.

I don't pay for demos. I pay for the fast bandwith they provide to download those demos.
As for betas, the other option is what? A random draw from a list of everyone who's requested access?
So, they have 1,000* spots for first wave and 1* million people request access. Don't like my chances there. Would much rather pay the small amount I do for near guaranteed beta access to the games I'd like to play.
