Crysis Patch 1.2 is out

Performance improved for me with the 1.2 patch and the new nvidia drivers that came out on their site yesterday.

Ive noticed a bit of an improvement aswell, its bit more playble.
Im playing everything on max including AA@ 1280x1024, its quite playable

No it doesn't - check the benchmarks - they stated it will be added in a patch later in interviews after the game was released.

My patch installed no probs even tho I have removed the videos & altered a few things, no CD exe didn't cause a foul up either but I do have to put the disk in now to play ( I dont play online)
Also did the new Nvidia driver but the jaggies look much worse to me, I notice the railing along the coast road looks really bad

The game already uses quad cores, just really badly, probably because the game is so GPU limited.

I found for the the patch/driver combination has allowed me to overclock the card while playing so have got an extra 5-10 fps. Previously it was not at all happy with an overclocked card.

Havn't bothered with crisis since i finished it 3 days after buying it TBH

How do you manually set resolution? There is no option in the menu for 1680x1050.

Gettig some weird glitches with this patch, was playing around in the first level (contact) and for some reason every korean jeep with the mounted mg is being rendered with its 2 back wheels missing, shoot where the wheels are meant to be and they explode off.

So er yeah, I'm missing the back wheels as well, is there a fix for this yet?

I think the fix is not to install this patch



I never had problems before, I suppose its a case of don't fix what is not broken

yep, go to C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Crysis and open up the game.cfg, you'll see 2 lines:

r_Height = xxxx
r_Width = xxxx

where x is your current res, change as you see fit.

Restarting a new game fixes the missing back axle (wheels) issue. Slightly infuriating but then this section of the game is fun.

I do not have a no cd patch, no.

I do (as a result of my disc going wonky and getting this error previously) and the 1.2 patch installed over it fine and even runs without having to download a new exe.

Vista x64 by any chance? I really cant be bothered with loads of DVD's any more and I cant get 1.2 x64 working without the DVD.

I highly doubt that, FarCry worked that way however.

On Vista 64, I had to get a new 1.2 NoCD.

If you have popped your old NoCd back in the game is back unpatched.

Both the Crysis.EXE(s) in Bin32 and Bin 64 Folders must have build "1.1.1.6115" or they aint patched.

So does your Crysis 64bit work with a new 1.2 no cd? My 32bit works but 64bit just gives me some error.
