Great stuff Big.Wayne. It shows some people talk out their ****
good stuff wayne - i think that's an indication that SLI'd GT's are the way to go for 1920x1200 action unless you want to play on medium.
A minimum FPS of 16 and average of 23 is silky smooth in Crysis! Not to mention the person that said they ran it fine at high/1920x1200 has a much higher clocked card with a ~3.6ghz quad core.
Most of the caching takes place in the first few seconds of the level loading, so it doesn't mean the FPS will be constantly lower when you're playing a level for the first time. Why is the first benchmark run always giving lower FPS than subsequent runs? Is it because the level isn't cached yet? Given that the average player doesn't play the level through more than once we can expect even lower fps.
And you think that will take the FPS from 0-1-2 to "silky smooth"??
He never claimed to run it with 8xAA, just high settings.
Try reading before you bloody start.
No I wouldn't go that far, it just shows that what people consider silky smooth can vary a great deal. This isn't an attempt to shame any of my fellow forum members but instead to take away any opinions at all and just look at bare fps facts. Personally I aim for 1920x1200with a minimum of 30fps and as much goodies as I can get away with, others may prefere an average of 30fps.Great stuff Big.Wayne. Thanks marscay, for the way I like a game to play I tend to agree with you, from some early results I have seen this game does scale well using SLI, now the only problem I have is not owning a SLI compatible motherboard!good stuff wayne - i think that's an indication that SLI'd GT's are the way to go for 1920x1200 action unless you want to play on medium.
Thank you again and criticism welcomed and duly noted!Only criticism is that all the graphs should be the same scale. Otherwise great demonstration from a real life user

Well so do I, in nearly all games anything below 30fps is unplayable for me... Crysis however seems completely different.
TBH I'm getting more and more closer to getting another GT
poo chipsets it is then
Yup, look at UT3/GoW/CoD4, 45 FPS seems sluggish, on Crysis 27+ seems pretty damn smooth to me.Well so do I, in nearly all games anything below 30fps is unplayable for me... Crysis however seems completely different.
tomorow, when im back on my rig, ill run these tests on sli 8800GT's for you, and put them in graphs for you if you want.
