I thoroughly enjoyed Crysis and Warhead, played them back to back. I liked the change to fighting the aliens as for most of the game you're fighting the Koreans, sneaking through the jungle etc. and the aliens added a nice change of pace, a different challenge.
If you want it to look good and run well try the custom configs that are out there, especially the CCC pack. Check out incrysis.com to get the latest versions, i played through with it on a GTX260 and it looked ace!
Got it a few weeks ago but didnt get that far. Spent about 3 hours trying to hide from a helicpoter, damn thing just kept following me along a river. Used a combination of stealth and hiding behind trees but even though it couldnt see still seemed to be following me. After many many tries I eventualy got past it, but hard drive failed and lost the save game, dreading going through that again so havent played since, must have bgeen doing it wrong shooting it down would probably be the best option but didnt have the firepower to do it![]()
I second this.As it isn't totally linear, you have to be a bit inventive to have the most fun. I used to think it was boring untill someone on this forum suggested how to play it.
Always play on the hardest difficulty and Instead of sniping from a distance, jump in and have fun using all your different abilities. Try and tackle the situations as differently as possible, i.e instead of shooting the men in the jeep, moving on, shooting the people in the camp. Comandear the jeep, ride full pelt at the camp jump out at the last second then snipe the fuel cannister and blow it up, activate stealth and in the confusion come in and finish off the survivers from behind.
Its great till you get to the cave and have to float about, that was utter crap that, so i stopped playing when i got out at the other side, as that level ruined it.
