next year, wtf? where is all this 'info' coming from, i heard Q1 2007 was release date, along with ATI R600 so its believed

My advice, wait until this game goes gold before you upgrade your PC..

Although, if you apply that advice to Duke Nukem Forever youd be waiting a long time.. infact, id have saved you a load of money..

but would still be using a 386 or whatever. :)

I also thought i read its release date was push back to 2008.

Was kinda disapointed but not to much, there's plenty of games being released to take your mind off it :D

*Supreme commander
*Command & conquer Tiberium Sun
*Armed Assualt
*BioShock
*Resident Evil 4
ET Quake Wars
*Stalker
Unreal Tourny 2007

**edit**
Forgot to add Team Fortress, im sure this will be great fun to :D

Thats about in order of release i think, i've stared the ones which im looking forward to, Supreme Commander is probably the one im most looking forward to as it just looks like such a fun game, as im well into my RTS type games like C&C but supreme commander just looks to offer that much more.

Another good thing about Crysis being delaid is that there will actualy be hardware in peoples houses / being sold (affordable) which can actualy run the thing at full settting no problem with no problems driver wise etc...

Got a feeling a few of them ^^ will end up being pushed back aswell, it's just the way it is atm.

According to wikipedia the 64bit version will give a 10-15% boost.

This game does look visually stunning, I hope the gameplay can be just as good.

Would'nt surprise me one bit but I think Supreme Commander is a definate (hopefully) thats the game im most looking forward to so not worried to much about the others hehe.

Its put down for a Febuary 23rd release i think so it should go gold by end of this month hopefully.

I've also got my 360 here and i've got 4 or so games that need to be completed.

my worry is that it will look amazing as long as you have 4gb RAM, 3 x 8800GTX cards, quad processor etc and 99% of people will be dissapointed when they have to start turning off all the eye candy to get a decent frame rate. I could be wrong of course, but it does look exceptionally good and to get it to look like that usually takes a lot of processing power...

can't be that bad ,i am more than sure if u will have atleast E6600 or better cpu with 2gb of any decent ram and one of thouse dx10 cards at the time it will be released u should be fine realy !

also, not forgetting, they probably have a 5k rig powering those vids and have bumped up the config files to make it look stupidly good. they always do at game conventions. I reckon any high mid spec pc will play it just fine.
