When we play mm we have dust2 train nuke inferno mirage cache... and after we play one map we remove it..

Also it's good to learn all the smokes too it took us a few hours on a empty server to learn all the proper smokes which then narrows down ya angles u have to cover when pushing.... Also learning one way smokes too is nice little trick too.

Well, i think people show ranks to show how they are progressing. If your ranks are going up, then you are pretty much becoming a better player.


I have lost 8 in a row, after winning 5 in a row. That has pushed me down from MG1 ro GN3. I have not been a Gold Nova 3 in about a month. I haven't been playing too bad either. i generally just meet **** team mates, or very good opponents.
 
Ranks are a pretty poor tell for how good someone is. I'm MGE but no where near that good, I'm awful at the game but somehow I never get demoted.
 
Im not sure it cares about score except for the win but it counts mvp ? You dont have to be rubbish to lose, just being slightly off your game is enough.

Except for pheonix maps for the badge I dont play comp unless I think Im doing good. Playing when tired is an easy way to go back to silver

The game isnt one dimensional, if it was just reactions only I would not bother. Just knowing a map better counts a lot, whoever said they play just Dust, that could work if you know it better then others because its not really a comp map. I like office and maybe ones like Cobblestone

My Caps Lock button is bound to mic chat. Sometimes, whenever I speak to my team, my mouse freezes, and stops working. When i remove it and re attach it (with USB) it starts working again.

I have a Deathadder (not 2013) and I already re-installed Razer Synapse, and it still happened. I'm not sure why it happens either. It doesn't seem to happen when in Windows, but I haven't tried other games (don't play much more stuff).

Anyone had this problem? How did you solve it?

Ideally I want to change everything whilst having my hands on WASD. The chat is the last button I can't fit...

WASD moving
` console
TAB scoreboard
SHIFT walk
Ctrl crouch
Space jump
Q cycle nades (have to remove hand from a :()
E plant/defuse (same here, but you don't move when planting)
F drop weapon (same here, but I generally walk forward when swapping gun, and I won't need to strafe)
Y and U are chat buttons, but I use those at start of round and stuff.
 
you can press 12345 without taking your hands off movement keys. Having your hands on them at all times really isn't important anyway, you shouldn't be swapping guns, knifing, opening console, opening scoreboard, cycling to nades or jumping when needing to strafe. Even with changing weapons you only need to tap Q.

Your controls sound awkward for awping as well. Its way easier to double tap Q :p
