CS:GO Discussion

It's whatever you want it to be, provided the rest of your team has a coherent strategy.

It isnt though really... There is a set way to play and if you do not do this you will get pwned. (if you are playing against good people in a match etc)

Which is a shame because some aspects of the game, particularly cs_ map-types, were never intended to be played by both teams rushing to the other teams spawn in 10 seconds flat, even though thats pretty much how everyone plays now :(

Can someone advise why I can't download this crap after 19 hours and 36 minutes into August 14th? :)

Because it's only 11 hours and 38 minutes into Seattle time.

Edit: I'm only annoyed about this because I caused a big argument with the other half by not seeing her tonight :p

Lol.

Steam forums are almost as much fun as reading YouTube comments!

You all bought a game that comes out on the 21st. The beta is a free bonus, chill out.

I was talking more about playing style in clan matches. Some servers are alright though it depends which ones you use.

While I'm not all grumpy over this I don't understand why Valve continue to **** things up like this.

The pre-purchase offer went live 7 days ago. Therefore they have had 7 days to ensure that the beta was ready to go at a reasonable time for their world wide customers.

What I think is particularly poor is the lack of communication.

So how were the maps originally designed? For them to sit in their spawns and play tiddlywinks? You don't half talk some utter nonsense at times.

The CS maps are, or were, defensive on the part of terrorists, the de maps are defensive on the part of the counter-terrorists. You wouldn't have hostages in the first place if your plan was for everyone to just rush the street :p

Rush had a place but surely on the part of the attacking team not the defending team? I appreciate thats not how the game is played now, but that wasn't my point.
