Whats the point of randomly going into a game without knowing if you're going to get matched vs silvers or lem.

If you're on the side against the better players then you waste 45 minutes not learning a great deal because you're just being headshotted every time you do something wrong, and if its you vs worse players then you don't have fun for 45 minutes because you completely stomp the opposite team.

MM puts you up against players closer to your skill so you can actively improve vs players your level which provides closer games which are more fun.

Yea. My skill level, no reason to adapt or try anything new because you know what works against noobie MGs... Over DMG the ranking system takes a **** and doesnt make any sense anyways.

Have fun with crappy, inconsistent 64 tick servers. Ill play on consistent servers against people who are better than me hopefully so i can learn and become better. And if im matched with silvers nice then i get to stomp :D, they're usually flamed out of ESEA and faceit within the first few matches anyways and go back to valve match making.

Your opinion is basically: "I want to play against people my skill on inconsistent servers"

You're not gonna learn anything. But you made me curious, what is your rank?

yea you wont learn anything playing against players of your own skill, so why not just go play against ldlc, thats the only way you will learn anything.

Oh i also suck at football shall i go play vs the england football team to get better?

Lets of course keep things within reason, you cant really go from silver to ESEA. MG2 - Eagle is what i would say is enough to go on ESEA and learn.

Thats the analogy you're gonna use? Are YOU really that unskilled that you wont learn anything by playing ESEA? What rank are you?

I have played faceit (128 tick). OCUK have their own 128 tick servers and I have played numerous times on the server against other OCUKers, and I'm not being cocky, I did top frag a few times.

Look, I'm no super hero. I'm confident of my skills and I am aware of my limits. Sometimes I need a small nag from my team to get me back in my place and focus more, but I am generally a good team player. I put effort to learn smokes and to learn strats, and I try to play for the team rather than for my own stats. As I said, sometimes I step out of line, but who does't?

64/128 tick is just a cheap excuse for people who die. It's like the lag excuse. Sometimes it's true, but generally it's a good excuse for being outskilled.

I am master guardian 2 atm. I am hovering between MG2/MGE. I have played less recently so I have dropped a bit in skill recently. I started at Silver 4 around a year ago, and solo qued myself up to MG level.

EDIT: It's funny how you said rank doesn't matter, and now you ask both me and flighty for our ranks ;)

lol. I said beyond DMG, and you have to be good enough to get to that point anyways. And you're obviously not.

Stop the strawman arguments :)

And there we have it, the cs:go community in a nutshell, full of complete ********* who flame lower skilled players out of playing the game, rather than helping them to improve, they'd rather just act like a bunch of *****.

Precisely the reason I can rarely be arsed to play faceit solo, it's just full of complete ******s. Even more so than mm, if I want to play with people better than me who will help me learn I'll just continue to play with stu, flighty Nik, etc who have played with me since I was SEM up to mg2 and coincidentally haven't flamed any silvers out of the game.

Why do you have to play vs high ranks and get dominated to learn stuff.

Why cant you play vs your own ranks have even games and then just watch higher ranks and see what they do.

you don't learn anything from getting killed over and over because you don't see what they did to kill you, you cant see how they used game sense to out maneuver you, you don't see how they used better comms or just better positions.

This play against better players to learn how to be better is bs, watch better players play to learn how to be better, see what they do right and what they do wrong.

If you're just on the receiving end of stomp you learn nothing.

Dude your point applies to me in ESEA, im not as good as many of the players on there. I watch them and learn from them. Its just the added bonus of more consistent servers :)
