CS:GO Discussion

Can u please not post spoilers to cs games especially main events such as dhw etc... I been working for 12 hours and dont have the privilege to sit at home all day watching the events... I have money on all of today's games and wanna watch them all when I eventually get home.. So please use spoiler tags..

But that only works (obviously not the more consistent servers bit) if the people you are playing with are actually normal people, who don't just go omg noob when you make a mistake and take the 2 seconds to point out what you did wrong rather than just chucking a wobbly.

I actually agree that playing against people of a higher skill level will make you learn more quickly because your mistakes are punished where they might not be at lower levels. But having a load of adults act like 4 year olds when you make a mistake and just say you suck is of no help at all.

Take long a on dust 2 as ct, let's say Mr noob just casually wonders around the corner and gets nailed by a t at long doors, given a load of abuse all that person will learn is never go round the corner. Pointing out to them that with certain spawns the t can get there first so it's an idea to flash smoke or pre fire is usually a half decent idea and may teach them something, or at least encourage them to go and watch some videos and learn themselves, rather than just give them dogs abuse.

At the end of the day, silvers are generally just people new to the game, and actually without a steady influx of new people the game will die and we all loose, so is it really that hard to not be an ass hat to them?

At the sort of level anyone on here is ever going to be at its just a game, yes be competitive, yes strive to improve, but I don't understand why so many seem to feel the need to be so bloody rude to noobs, when compared to some we will always be noobs and make lots of mistakes.
 
Why are you even bothering replying? We established a long time ago that Ranger has views that differ to others and he is unwilling to move from them or even accept another viewpoint. Forget, drop it and move on. Jeeez.
 
VP smashed Na'Vi! jeeez! i didn't think they would hammer them that much (No idea what happened with Pasha and his VAC Issue)

I thought finally some decent teams playing against each other

It is well know that Na'vi didn't play Nuke up till ESL one cologne, but in that tournament they lost 16-14 I believe to Fnatic, so they decided to play it. I would have thought it would have been much closer.

Yes but it's not the best way to play CS. You will be at a massive disadvantage in comparison to others. I believe flighty tried it and his performances were very bad lol.

I bet Flipside to beat Navi because it was 9% which is silly and nobody recognises flipside apparently.

I dont think Navi is the worse side but Flip could win anyway, just watching them do fast plants and bluffing a lot to stop defuse which is getting them round wins. Nice bet imo, map is overpass. I could spoilertag the whole post , but dont read this thread before you watch todays matches

I first played competitive FPS (a small local lan) on the original Doom demo a fair while back, with a parallel cable for a link it was very good ping :D Im still improving - http://i.imgur.com/m7OHgDO.jpg
High quality is what counts most for practise, but I think spots to nade can be done at any level but not the whole timing vs aim, gamesense thing. I'll be glad when everyone is on fibre optic and engine factors are less of an issue

The resolution of a pad is lower then a mouse on a pad will give you and with the game so focused on hitting the head hitbox for a quick/instant kill you want aiming fast precise more then anything. Also why pistol can be better then rifle

:eek: didnt even think of that one as close. I was going to disagree with Nik earlier and say Nip I thought were playing slack, obviously they are good but tired or just making a few too many mistakes but I have not watched them especially since cologne. Need to do some cardio in training or something to switch up their comfort levels beyond those soft sponsored seats
