CS:GO Discussion

What time (gmt) are the dreamhack matches on today?
Really enjoyed watching it yesterday! Much more exciting to watch than the footie! IMO of course!

cant believe the NIP game was so close last night. id even be tempted to put a cheeky wager on hellraisers today, they played well yesterday.

I do not see how it is possible for him to be hacking in DH.

Configs are pre submitted for approval

The only internet connection the machines have is a skin server for the players skins, they have no workshop connection at all.

All peripherals have to be vito'd and connected by admins through software barriers.

Would have to be some serious inside work form other people to get the hack in form what i have seen of DH and Valves efforts to stop it all.

How are people not getting it yet. Its the skinz.

Very odd mouse movements, but I don't know if it has been edited. Notice how when he turns to his right his crosshair is quite smooth as it targets the edge of the wall. As he turns back to his left there appears to be a definite 'skip' to his mouse movement that coincides with the point at which his crosshair reaches the player. Now, a lot of hacks use crosshair bots and they generally have an option to allow the bot to lock on if the enemy player is not in line of sight (IE through walls). It could be that, although I would think it strange if a high level player was dumb enough to have that setting enabled, but it is possible I guess.

Could be a response he made automatically in the moment, forgetting he was being watched. I have alluded to just such a thing in the past, where hackers always get caught out by making a mistake. As a rule, they always make mistakes that gives their cheating away.

It could be pure coincidence, or perhaps his mouse slipped off the mat at that exact moment.

But putting my server admin cap on for a second I would say that further investigations into that player are warranted. I would be watching him closely if he were playing in my server.

Right... So it VP v PENTA starting in 15mins?

Every time I look at a site for times and go onto twitch matches seem to start half an hour or an hour later o.O

And yes I know about the time diff

Eugh, won some nice skins in DH then lost them all in HR vs NIP game. Annoyingly I had my bet in NiP but switched to HR last minute.
