CS:GO Discussion

what is with this game where you can see the enemy behind walls with an outline around them? or am i missing something? i watched it on twitch. if you can see the enemy behind walls how do you sneak up on them?

That's just arms race or the streamer was using wall hacks

Sounds like arms race, its one person per side and yea I dont really get it either but pretty sure this see through 'feature' is on call of duty also.

The main excuse for this is arms race forces balance between players, so you generally get the better weapons at the start and to win you must repeatedly kill everyone with pistols and eventually a knife and yep while they can see you.
That way you could get a global and a nova on the same server and its not a total wipeout for the average noob. Unfortunately I think they took it too far with the wallhack and really irritating is they splash next rank graphics over your crosshair as you playing so you doing well, great... now theres text over your view.
The old arms race could finish in a few minutes as some are lethal with pistols and I guess they wanted to put weights on the faster players

Demo mode gives more xp anyway

unboxed a WW ST M4 Hyperbeast.
nobody believes some people are this lucky. I do because Iam the opposite :o
Should be cheaper to buy back later I think. Chroma skins being returned in bets I noticed, bet liquid to beat c9 and got an actual overpay on a tiny bet which is why underdog bets are best :)

i wouldnt want to buy it back tbh, not a massive fan of the hyperbeasts.

I'm taking a break from CS, the smurf account I linked couple pages back is not mine. Couple people use it, just wanted to mention that.

Whata the point in a second account anyway?

Easier to do far better in your first 10 competitive wins to get a higher rank than you did on the main account when you've basically honed your skills on the main first. Its basically abusing the points system for all its worth. Most people sell the account if they hit a high enough level with it too lol.

I'm still using my main (Supreme), but I have a 2nd with LE (not really my account, but I've ranked it up to LE from GN2) which I've started to de-rank on purpose :p

Edit:

Waiting for my mouse feet to come for my mouse, its really hard to get some glides for my IE3.0. But my friend from JP has helped me to order some as I couldn't find any in UK/EU, so its all good. :D

P.s. My mouse glides got to the point, where the plastic bit is scraping on my mouse mat :p

I must be doing it wrong then....

Reason for my 2nd account is so I can play with freinds who are a lower rank, as if I played with them on my main it would force the opponant ranks too high and making the game little fun for my friends.

My main I use to really test myself.

I would be really grateful if someone could explain the case's (how you get them) and generally the whole thing to me.

I'm from the old CS and then CS 1.6 Era. In recent months ive been playing CS:GO and enjoying it. But the whole case's business just baffles me. I recently purchased this new Blood addon and started playing a few missions. But when i come on here and see people talk about Cobble cases etc. I'm just baffled. I have had a load of random cases in the last few months but never get anything decent from them, just feels like your throwing money away.

Out of curiosity, what ranks are you all?

I recently started playing again, unranked due to inactivity, played a game and went back up to Guardian II, then climbed to Guardian Elite over the weekend. Hoping to get a lot higher. once i get better and more comfortable i'll probably look at esea as i'm not really a fan of the match making..

Generally speaking you don't get anything from crates that you couldn't buy for a fraction of a price through the Stream market (unless you are super lucky).

What I used to do is find a gun skin I wanted, look for the cost of the item on the market and then sell the cases/rubbish skins until I could afford it.

Anyone play between 7-midnight want to team up just sick of gettin people who dont talk or are being carried into premades and are silvers or low novas

MG1 (was mg2 ranked down last night due to bad teams)
