demo pays the most xp if you arent on a mission or doing comp.

They reduced the time on casual rounds so this is an improvement

I am interested in knowing how the drops on rank advance work.

We know its limited to once a week, but does that mean you can stack rank gains and they will drop once each week is up, or do you effectively lose drops from making more than a rank increase per week..

There's no level cap apparently so you're not missing out if you rank more than once a week

Really impressive 2-0 win for Kinguin vs. VP tonight. Before the match I was toying on betting on Kinguin. If I'd had bet my highest value skins I would've netted a cool $460 worth. :eek:

I just opened a falchion crate that I got from a drop playing some casual. Opened it up and got a AWP Hyper Beast (non statrak) Factory New!!!!

I don't even AWP!

Should I sell it now or keep it? Lovely looking skin as well.

Generally the price should fall as falcion cases become more common. Presuming that its not an item everybody wants, I dont think it is. I reckon about a year after the operation ends is when it'll seriously start to rise again assuming more players at that time.

The rules on lounge changed, you can bet/win knives and max value is $75 now. So items that key into that economy matter (more, premium wise). Lounge wont allow bets with new items or anything without a stable price afaik

Its slanted towards max betters, odds are effectively lowered for them on wins. I bet SKDC on high odds but my little bet paid out at 30% of the indicated odds.

I enjoy watching them play but I stopped betting on them a long time a go as they either plough or get ploughed by teams they should be beating. Whenever they're against an 'underdog' and the CSGOL odds are stacked (like tonight) I'll usually place an ICB or low bet on their opponents. Kicking myself for not doing that tonight.

My advice would be to sell it now while its worth lots, give it a month and it could drop and probably will drop to asiimov kinda price range (35-45).
Your decision though.
Keep in mind you'll loose about 15% in selling fees.

Sell straight away while the operation is fresh in everyone's minds. You could also sell it for keys on http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensiveTrade/

I'd guess you could sell it now for £100 and buy it back in a months time for 20-30% less if you wanted to. Any drops I'm getting (cases etc) I'm putting straight on the market place.

The high price is the bling effect, its new and theres only so many oil sheiks that'll keep it high & every day more drop. The griffin m4a4 dropped to 9 pence recently, its purple not red but prices get flushed.
On the weird rare skins, it has to be factory new I think. My aztec m4 skin is mw, not worth anything but the fn spiked to 20 quid. I got alpha pack skin in a bet, years old zero supply of these and fn spiked over 20 quid so that'd be worth holding

Yea VP are a great team I think but I dont know if its age or something, they just need like 1.21 gigawatts to really take off

If not then bet if they can cruise it for the win
For betting its good to have this kind of whipsaw thing, helps the odds maybe kinguin would be similar not sure

spotted this just now, I dont see me winning but anyhow so far faceit is ok practise generally.

Three matchmaking games tonight - all on EU East as we're still unable to queue for EU West as five and get a game? - and three easy wins. First game on Nuke was hard to start with, but I had my interp ratio set to 2. Disconnected at half time, changed to 1, reconnected and walked the rest of the match, and generally walked the next two both on Cache with a couple of aces.

Seven wins and one draw in eight games, must be due a rank-up

May be a silly question but how do you choose where you queue at?

He may be using some add-on or plug-in that has been mentioned in this thread several times a few pages back.

You can also do it by altering your mm_dedicated_max_ping (or something similar) command in console - lower settings (e.g. 50) means it will only find matches with pings less than whatever you set it to (e.g. 50). The default is 150 and explains why so many people get paired with Ruskies/Eastern Europe.
