Buy them on the steam market. Despite being very lucky myself and making over £1000 trading skins I'd say to steer away from opening cases and just buy the skins you like.

I traded from 33 to 40-45 within a week, but i am unsure how to advance further, any tips? Do you trade market or lounge?

Theres no rule you cant just prefer the common skins which are like 10p but usually everyone likes the rare ones hence expensive.

Unlike DLC you can resell this gear so thats maybe why its headline cost is different, in theory you can pay £50 and sell it £60 so yes expensive but in effect CSGO can be the cheapest game you ever played so I quite like it all however silly and I dont care about naff looking skins. i just keep the rarer ones like nuke or aztec.
I equate it to someone posh driving a nice Porsche and running it into the pavement all day long, all the money and no skill whats the point in fancy skins if you still look a pleb tbh :p

Actually, it's confirmed that you can obtain any item from these collections:
Bank
Dust 2
Italy
Lake
Mirage
Safehouse
Train
And you can't obtain any item from these collections (except trade up contract and missions):
Alpha
Assault
Aztec
Dust
Inferno
Militia
Nuke
Office
Vertigo

All cases still drop, although seems like all cases before phoenix have a very low drop rate.

Csgolounge and reddit/r/global offensive trade

Thats a good profit considering its low value items your trading. I was dealing with the high value knives so it was easier. I doubled my profit on some trades.

I hate you. :D

I'd also stay away from opening cases (I can't help myself though) as I've opened many, many cases and had 1 decent skin from it.

I've been super lucky mate. Onscreenlol opened something like 1800 cases before he got a knife.

Ibwas luckily initially and then I found I had a knack for trading, I turned my 1 x Flip fade into 2 x M9 Fades, 1 x Karambit Fade & 1 x Karambit Slaughter. All FN and owned at the same time. Plus at the same time I had a FN Howl, Glock Fade, Asiimov everything and tons of other high value skins.

It took a hell of a lot of time.
 
saw a player get permanently banned from all steam servers tonight. Not really sure why but we think team killing?

Never seen that before!
