CS:GO Discussion

I had the "updating steam info" thingy. There were some random fixes, some file thats corrupted or so, but just easier to reinstall (obviously move your game folder to a different location first). Took 5 mins to "fix it" with a reinstall!
 
An Oakland raiders (profession American Football team) player was streaming (Twitch) CS:GO yesterday. LEM level, pretty cool :)

His PC is mental as well Quad titans, 5960x , custom watercooling, x6 1TB SSDs in raid 0, mental!


Also on another note, Mouz are having a good run in this Gfinity.

Noob question.

Is this game basically riddled with hackers?

New to the game....just playing on the most straightforward mode (death match) on the default servers....and there are some guys on there who are going 30-0..everytime u meet them...boom, headshot..
 
Most good players warm up in dm so its not unusual. Try some arms race or demo I have never seen anyone cheat there.

There are cheaters but not every game. get your xp to rank 3 and see how you do in competitive as that is real game
 
I like to think they're all hackers but it's more likely I just suck :(.

Played my first matchmaking and went 8-4 so I'm happy :D. P90 FTW!

Although I hate when everyone else has died Im expected to clear 4 players on my own got owned by the 4th one and my team goes ballistic at me lol. They shouldn't have died so soon imo :D.
 
So sick of match making at the moment last 9 games only managed 3 wins whilst top fragging and getting most important entry kills each round.

I consider myself a LOW LE but some of the guy's im being matched with are taking it to a whole new low jesus christ.

LEM/LE/MGE/MGE/MGE (My team) vs LE/LE/LE/LE/LE how is that legit? Edit: 16-1 LOSS (I was the only guy to hit double figures....)

Time for a huge break I think.

I am GN2 my name is the same as on here, when i am on my game, i can top frag in MGE games, but others i fail against silvers, add me if you like and say you are off here and want a game or something, boost me maybe ;)
I have a mic and talk also, i know dust 2 really well
 
i get accused in mission servers everyday you get used to it. :) I can see why me going 30-1 with a 57 annoys people but it's a fast way to play dm. plenty of bullets low recoil and great practice for eco rounds I need to polish my usps up though i suck with it.

Currently grinding the earn 1,000 ,00 as a CT easiest way to do it is rails with mag 7 or agency (hossie recsue is worth $1800 + kill money + round win)

rails works becuase t's are all doing sawed off mission so they have to get close,

Apaprently though my headphones and map knowlege due to the volume of rounds i've played on these two maps make me a cheat.

I admit good headphones are like cheating but it's not my fault everyone runs around like idiots in that mode.

I did that mission and found agency the best and just used a bison, 300 per kill and doller for hossies
 
Twst what headphones are you using?

Played a quick game last night. Was winning 10 0 when team started to take **** and we lost next few before winning rest. See ranks and was not surprised as we were all le and they had 1 le, rest various mg. Not exactly fair matchmaking

Also found if someone gas Netflix on in house while I play cannot hit anything even though ping in general looks ok.
 
just phillips X1's and the Essence one Dac, you just hear all the sounds scopes footsteps jumps, provided you have map knowledge you can easily understand where people are on the maps.

There are better headphones for gaming but I swear some people either listen to music whilst playing or don't have good headphones at all because they hear nothing. Watching people 1 v 2 with no sound is the most painful thing to witness I don't understand why you would put yourself at such a disadvantage.

About 30% of games have somebody so not quite riddled.
I got an official valve note in game for my report in casual mode of a player, overwatch banned. So it does something

I think arms race has a lower level of players in it especially earlier on, top players dont like all the junk placed on there to slow them down perhaps (literally the crosshair is blocked with text about 'level up')
HS is an overpowering move in a game so that sounds normal to feel its unfair or unbeatable, theres fairly massive skill differences between players but you will progress to get the same shots yourself.
So long as you get some hits before you die, I always rated that as not a total loss because its just the final piece to improving that slightly to the headshot box and you win
 
Finally finished enough games (wins) to get ranked.

Think there was some on-line Excel sheet you can be added to?

It would be nice to game with some decent people rather than angry eastern block kids.
