CS:GO Discussion

What I want to know is what they class as a wrong verdict. Like say someone is very good at hiding his wallhack and I say he's not cheating but others say he is cheating and he gets an overwatch ban, does that make me wrong? Or is it only for people that say they are cheating even though they are not?

Effective at reducing a certain subsection of cheaters who want the instant satisfaction of winning/trolling/whatever. Similar for smurfing, a level cap makes people think twice.

It wont deter a lot cheaters, or all people wanting to smurf but it will deter some that is for sure. It's a net positive.

Its about the consensus so majority is right and thats not 1:1 vote but based on those with best weighting.
So if fallen for a pro demo being a hack I guess the score goes to zero, not sure about where its just a disagreement on a demo (with the majority vote).
If he is good at hiding it, then he gets away with it. It just got to be obvious I think is how it goes, most bans are vac not ow so not even a big thing afaik

I just can't bring myself to do a lot of these missions, plus I'm stuck on some of the guardian ones as I don't have anyone to do them with :)

likewise, I cant see why they have started getting people do join you in missions.

I find the missions are a pain to do, I have just finished getting 1mill as a CT now that was a bloody nightmare to do and took ages

if you want a hand doing them add me to steam and can do the same ones if you want
 
it rubbish compared to previous operations as you had a chance to get either a case or skin drop after every mission, now its just once a week. right cop out if you ask me.
 
I just cant understand this approach to the missions from valve? surely if more guns get dropped more go on the market and they get more sales to take their % out off.
Won't be paying for a pass again if it stays like this.

But every new gun devalues all previous guns. And if there were loads more drops people wouldnt buy as much as they wouldnt need to.
They are keeping supply down so that the equilibrium of supply and demand is at a higher price for any given gun.
 
Was also reported for WHing last night.. played with a two of my DMG mates and two MG3's and we wiped the floor of a full DMG team, i was top frags which felt pretty good. we were throwing out tactics left right and centre which is a pretty good feeling instead of winging it.

Its kind of a compliment being accused of hacking i guess, but at the same time still irritating. and shocking that players higher rank than me revert to saltyness and calling the others hackers..

The whole time i have played CS:GO from low to my current level i have not experienced one hacker. I have played against absolute beasts who would destroy, but i wouldn't accuse them of hacking, but only being a good player..

I think people are to quick to jump to the conclusion someone is hacking just because they are getting demolished and have to go into defensive mode protecting their "skills" by claiming hacks.

Either way finally sorted out my crappy reaction speeds slightly mainly due to a few DM rounds before competitive each time!

Should be on tonight if anyone is up for some games :)
 
I tend to just report anyone dodgy since cannot do it after. Try to do a few overwatch for each game as well. I have rarely seen spinbots and only a couple of aimbots in overwatch

So far I have ranked up and down between dmg/eagle 4 times this week.

More guns will flood the market and decrease the value.

also on a good news front. i should be able to say goodbye to my massive ping fairly shortly.

plan was to be with the inlaws until crimbo but due to a generous brother in law we just had an offer accepted on a place.

i can get 60-70mb according to BT or 152mb according to Virgin (think ill prob go the BT route due to no throttling etc though)

I am on virgin media and don't seem to have any throttling on mine. download files at 7.4mb (60mb broadband) one weekend I downloaded 24 all seasons @ 45GB, big bang theory which was 71GB and a load of HD movies at about 10GB each and had no issues

The breakout pass was the best one Im pretty sure and I loved those maps (which are still in all csgo installs btw)

This one is meh, the vanguard cases were pretty worthless so it just appears worse. Imo cases and some skins take 18 months to mature in price, because they have to cycle into obscurity and become collectors items then like how case hardened became or fade glock i guess though not sure any now are that uniquely styled
