I use IE3.0@500hz, had some games on my smurf account lately after over 2 weeks without CS at all...

There is no 'best' really.

I would suggest you do some reading into grip (claw or palm), decide which you are and look into reviews of those mouses. Most mid-high mice these days have similar spec, with a heap of features.

Personally, I'm not a fan of steelseries mice, they seem to small for my large hand. I was originally a MS Intelli 3.0 explorer user. I find the Zowie evo EC1 an almost identical replacement, but that's just me.

As for mouse mats, for last 2 years I've used a hard steelseries mat (probably now called the 9HD, though mine is so worn I'd say its just smooth plastic on the pivot / angle I use :D) on top of a qck+, again...just my preference to have it higher (Not sure why I started doing it).

I highly recommend visiting the OCUK store or another place that will have a range of mice on display to touch and feel if you're completely stuck.
 
The Rival is not small at all, you need big hands for it ideally.

Anyway are the any more DMGs to LEMs on here that I don't have on my friends list?
Bored of being stuck at LE now due to how inconsistent solo q'ing is.

Yup, LE atm was extremely close to LEM but as you say solo q'ing is a pain and I haven't touched the account for 2 weeks :D Will drop you an add!

Edit: Something come up but will be on and off most of today so no doubt will catch you at some point (Barry Chuckle)

Rival is a strong seller but really needs a soft mat to get the best from it. took me a while to get used to it but it is hard to play well with anything else now [had a DA and a mamba before]

tried out a qpad 8k optical for a bit. not my thing really.
 
Going to explain a few things for people looking to buy a new mouse.

DPI = Deaths per investment. ie buy a £300 gold plated mouse to get the best advantage you can, I always recommend 16000dpi or above.

Laser / Optical = Obviously Laser is better it makes a pew pew pew sound. No brainer.

Mouse acceleration = more is better. eg is a Vauxhall or a Ferarri better. Obviously the Ferrari as it has more acceleration, same applies for mice.

Side buttons = More is better so you can bind your individual toggles for aimkey, wallhacks, spinbot etc.

Wired/Wireless = This is personal preference. Essentially can the wire reach to your toilet so you can poop and play? If not you need wireless.

I assume you're not referring to windows mouse accel? Anything with the word accel scares me.

Also...money doesn't make you a better player.
