CS:GO Discussion

My biggest losses have been on Titan, losing or choking when they should win. They almost lost that, I wouldnt blame nip as I think Titan improved a bit.

I wish I was sage on this but more chaotic in my bets, favoured titan just before game start. Right now I would place on envy heavily but the site I was using closed a bit earlier then lounge :/ very bad idea to go large on bo1 games but Im expecting easy envy on factors like map cobble and new player for dig.

CLG easy underdog :) they shouldnt win but its possible and they nearly did in the past

Betting on CS:Go??? Sound interesting - need to do more reading on that!!

Anyway - hopefully get my rank tonight as I need 2 more wins after yesterdays cooldown.

Any "bets" on what I get......:D:D

My Twitch won't play Dreamhack CSGO stream, I press play and I just get a still snapshot of the stream with no audio, however if I play in pop out player it seems to be fine. Will this effect me being able to get case drops?

Meh had a cobblestone souvenir pack should have just sold it whilst there stupidly priced rather than opening it, dual berettas, no DL for me :(

I didnt watch the NiP game but heard Friburg* was 2-15 after first half. Must suck to be under so much stress to perform at LAN when being in a long slump, only hindering your game further.

Fired this up, is there anyway to select maps? Also it seems like the aim is to sit and wait for an enemy come to you....

Any tips on how to buy? I remember the first CS I was told by some friends to quick buy etc with shortcuts??? Is it the same with this and why does the game start with such low cash... any tactics?

All game modes but competitive are random maps, with map voting at the end.
Comp games you can veto out maps.

Economy is only important in competitive games, which you wont be able to play anyway till you hit rank3.

Well my new mouse turned up finally and i replaced my Logitech G9X with a Steel Series Rival.

Comfortable mouse but due to the size difference and grip posture, man this has wrecked my gameplay so bad. Really struggling to frag at all and missing point blank easy kills.

New mouse done gone ****** my game up

i had a few weeks of constant loosing streak and bad playing.
then i realised i had my mouse matt the wrong way round, on its more gripping side.
duno how it took me that long to realise.

i would dread having to change mouse, been using the same logiech mx1000 since i started gaming, about 12 years ago

Ill get used to it i guess but if had to change my grip completely and that has thrown my game completely out the window. I was suprised by how much as i wasnt expecting the difference to be as extreme as it is

I had used the same mouse and same sens for 3 years (been using the same sens for 6) , but I doubled it yesterday - was too slow for CS, couldn't move quick enough. Took me about 10 mins to adjust...?

Not sure why its having such an impact

played a few games with cookeh last night and Benji.

lost one and won the other.

still MGE but happy to be keeping the rank rather than loosing it lol

thanks for making me feel even older...

I feel I'm getting better with age though, like a fine wine :D

Ha your gamesense and patience has probably improved but your stamina and reactions won't be what it was :D

Speaking from experience :(

Theres someone I played vs a few times who is a 40 year old mother who plays cs after putting the kids to bed and is global elite. It might be harder reaction wise but its a minor to other major factors I think.

Other end of the scale is a 17 year old, who first played cs summer 2014 is now on a professional team. Steel was arguing being good or bad is genetics, I dont really agree to that extent as most would be conditioning or more commonly skill, training, good practise.
The worst players are just not correcting their mistakes, its not physically a problem

I am conviced these updates are changing the input slightly. I use the same settings on my mouse and they have strictly not changed however I find a slight but noteworthy difference in my aim ability since a couple weeks ago where I am over aiming due to mouse speed. I now need to fiddle with my setting as selecting the next speed down on my G602 means its far too slow instead. Waaah.
