Can someone create an OCUK steam group we can post in and look for games together?

I'm unranked but have played since 1.6 just doing my placements at moment. But the amount of times you get a retard in your game is unbelievable. Makes me feel like league of legends all over again :D

Example. I was playing a game carrying I think my score was like 20ish-4 by this point or something? the game was neck and neck rounds wise though, then a guy on my team just decided to start grenading me/trolling others..... and I was just like smh..... like league of legends all over again.

So true, I was lucky last night in that my whole team were just poor players instead of trolls and the other team only had two decent players.

But the night before I had one of those nutjobs, just kept shooting our only decent player (me) for the last few rounds. We were 15-9 up and we didn't win because of the psycho on our team who kept shooting me. The internet is great for the dark tetrad of personality disorders, this guy must have been a sadist, he wanted his own team to lose because of him, for some reason. :confused: I think it’s the only way they can feel significant.

Nice, need to get people to join up to that. Just be handy to find partners for games etc of similar ranks. :D

Very weird how you experienced the same thing... it makes absolutely no sense.

a lot of people are on the ocuk group and most of the time i find they are not playing csgo.

the spreadsheet linked has been going a while and seem to be the more active players from in this thread.

add yourself to it and add folks around a similar rank to yourself and you should be good to go.
 
I need to get my old binds back to speed things up. I’ve gotten most of the old ones I used to use but I can’t find the ones for the knife. Most of the bind generators I saw didn’t seem to have the knife. What binds do people use for the knife? I’m WAY too slow getting it out from its default and can’t remember what I used before, it was years ago. The autoexec link on the first page doesn’t seem to be working here.

Also, any other recommended binds people use? I’ve got the Buy binds and the throw nades quickly ones.

elo lost is reduced by remaining players, Loss x 4/5 or 3/5 of the normal amount

Round won vs higher ranks on the other side is worth more then just equalling your rank or less.
Also a loss vs much higher ranks shouldnt be leading to a derank, in the same way less is lost.

Its a bit of a guess but the game will throw you an easy game before a derank. Obviously its not just about you, probably easier to notice this in solo queue
So if MG and you lose vs an enemy team in the majority nova 4 or less then its real bad news and possibly a derank.

The game will block any game with more then 10 rank difference. It didnt used to but now it will say no suitable match found, before it would just throw you into anything randomly. At silver I played vs globals a few times but i often choose hostage maps.
I had a 4 rank difference game the other day, MGE vs some low novas our side. This is rare and the loss I think doesn't matter so much then.
If you count up rank difference you can estimate damage done. I'd love to work for valve just to see their algorithm to all this but it might be a secret I guess like drops etc


Forget steam groups, it used to allow invites right off the member page but they wrecked it. You have to add anyone near your rank if you want to increase your chances of getting a full lobby. I usually avoid the temptation to spam everyone with game invites but you can always block people if you arent playing csgo, etc not a big deal hopefully

I've always used the mouse wheel for weapon switching.

Up for main weapon.
Back for pistol.
Push down for knife.

That way you can't scroll too far.

Use side buttons for grenades.
 
Just got to Global Elite! Didn't take too long from supreme. Only 183 games won (started playing in April). Not sure what to aim for now. ESEA/Faceit?

wheel for jumping and numbers for weapons I think is recommended but Ive never got round to changing it either

I was feeling good about the victory till you mentioned only playing for 2 months, now I feel bad :o
Ez Elite posting above just seals the deal :p

You could go esea or faceit but I think faceit is actually bigger in europe and maybe if you are really on a path to higher level games you'd be trying to qualify into FPL which pays out monthly for games won. Lower leagues have something too maybe

The highest rank game or players I ever played with were all from faceit where they play together regularly apparently.
