CS:GO Discussion

Bought this game in the sale and love it when I can get a decent game with no lagg but...I seem to be lagging on 90% of servers. My ping is in the mid 60's, my net speed is fine, checked on other games, done a speedtest etc. It just seems to be with this game.

Anyone else struggled with this?
 
Is the hit reg completely screwed in arms race or is it the whole game? Seemed fine until I got into that game mode and then point blank shotgun shots were registering as 0 hits whenever the other person killed me rofl. Could just be me though, but a lot of the time I'd crouch and light somebody up, get killed and itll say 1 or 2 shots hit. :confused:

I think I've almost given up on this game. So many fundamental issues.

- Please, for all that's holy can we please have regional matchmaking? Half the time I play with people who don't speak English and consequently don't call, cant call or even play as a team.

-Everyone is a ****. I've been playing cs since pre 1.6 which was awesome. Now everyone is just an idiot and abusive. If you lose a single round get called a "noob". Do people not know how matchmaking works?

-Cheaters. Everywhere. You know when there's a steam sale on CSGO because of the massive influx of hackers that join the game. Sure, running AWP headshot from a 2 week old Steam account with 10 hours logged on the game and top of the scoreboard. Seems legit to me. That or private profiles to conceal the lack of logged time on the game.

The fact this game even has an overwatch function is enough to suggest that this game has a huge issue with hacks.

Same for me too, apart from the fact my ping hits 700+ :rolleyes::p Doesn't happen with any other game.

getting a lot of this. even seeing the characters recoil as if i've hit them but then i die and the game reports 0 hits for 0 damage?!?!
 
This operation payback pass has bought a lot of idling botting/macro users with it, iv had a few games now where i see players running around in circles idling continuously to level the payback badge to gold. If there's not enough players in the match to kick them, then they just ruin the game. :(

That sucks... haven't seen much of it myself, but then again most of the time our group just all join an empty server (there's usually from 4 - 8 of us) and get started with some bots and then just let other players join... I guess if we saw someone not doing anything we'd just kick them, but it must be stupid if the above happens
 
Always best to avoid it for a couple of week around sale time. Was the same a few weeks back when it was on cheap, cheaters everywhere in matchmaking.

I am led to believe the silencer will be back in the next update so I can't wait to give that a blast.
 
I can understand the use of crates and keys in TF2, because of the real money to be gained from microtransactions in what is now a free to play game, but in CS?

I hope this isn't a sign that the game's going to become free to play soon.
 
See nothing wrong with the new decision, will help fund the esports scene, all cosmetic and aslong as character models do not change it won't effect gameplay.

Also new M4 decision is based on feedback from NiP I believe, although the 40 secondary seems a bit harsh
