CS:GO Discussion

Nice ace, 2 questions tho...

1. DAFUG is that viewmodel
2. Do you actually have the defuse music on or was that for effect in the clip

also Windows movie maker / vegas would have given you a 40-70mb file if that, hardly gb's worth.

wmm is good and/or try bandicam possibly. I like that ace, good gun cant tell if you godlike or just lucky :p

Pub servers are way too easy unfortunately so its not much practise. I was impressed just how fast people on here are:
http://fragshack.esea.net/index.php?s=servers
so long as its near full its generally a good test for esea level I think. Esea can be quite toxic, it varies it seems slightly more open just now

These servers are crap, lagging terrifically. The people over there aren't good thou, if you want some better players for practise go to Ambrosia 1vs1 server. But you have to get into Arena 1-3 to play someone half-decent, I'm going there right now if anyone wants to join

Played on it for a bit, people don't seem that great there either tbh.

I also feel like 1v1 doesn't help me as much as DM.

Bought it today after selling a old of TF2 crates on the marketplace and was initially shocked at the difference in art style and 'feel' of the game/engine - it reminded me of Left 4 Dead with HL2 models. Coming from 1.6 and CSS, many moons ago it was a shock to the system.

However, I played the casual mode for a few hours and quite enjoyed it! Somehow managed to be in the top three each round despite not knowing the maps or weapons - guess it matched me with other folk who'd just bought the game.

There were a few people calling noob/cheat/racist things which was a shame. Not sure if I could handle the competitive 'scene' or enjoy it if the abuse is as bad as I've read about.

I ordered a 144hz monitor yesterday, I hope its as good as everyone says.

If it doesn't get me to global elite in the first day not worth :p

Still trying to get some more online friends to play this with. Got 100+ hours in the game and just started playing competitive... Rank: Silver One with 23 wins.

Steam Name: SwaggyWaggy

Added you Swaggy, I'm getting into CS GO now, use to play 1.6 a lot and played a couple of competitive games last night and did quite well.

I use to play a lot of TF2 and the pace of CS:GO was the biggest thing for me. I can only play for an hour (if my computer doesn't crash!)and to start with I was only interested in Deathmatch and I think that's down to TF2 :D

If you was to play in a ladder/league the abuse would be almost zero

But in mm it's 50/50 it all depends on the time of day ect after school hours can be bad as in any game
