Anyone watching summit? He got donated like $30k+ today from 1 person...
Played on the Competitive mode for the first time today.
Is it always this bad? Played 3 games with genuinely retarded people. Teams were so stacked it was ridiculous. Literally some of the most frustrating games I've ever played.

My current form is LLLWLLLLLLLL. Quite impressive I do say so myself.
40k now
people are mental!
Is anyone else experiencing fps drops? I didn't play CS in a bit, I borrowed my account to my cousin. I just had couple games recently and my fps is anything from 80 to 240 jumping like mad, when someone appears on the screen there's a massive lag/fps drop..
Its not my PC that's the problem, as in other games such as BF3 I have 100fps stable.
My spec:
i5 [email protected]
2x4GB 1600Mhz 1.51v
7950@1050/1400 (Tested with 13.12, 14.4 and currently on 14.12)
SSD Intel 520 120GB (That's the drive with OS and CS:GO)
motar2k and his *cough Dubai tax dodge scheme no doubt.
edit: scrolled up. Some other tax dodger then![]()
Now my form is LLLLLLLLLLWLLLLLLLL - so 18L 1W. Dont think people who even try to throw games have a worse form. Sigh.
Do I need to be messing with the autoexec at all nowadays and if so what should I be looking at?
thanks
Rates are set by servers now so no need to do anything with them. No need to change autoexec unless you want to use some buy binds or other tweaks like bigger radar etc.Hi guys, I have been looking into my settings of late and have read a lot about rates and the like. Everything I found online about rates goes on about creating a autoexec file, however I already seem to have one and it looks totally different to the ones online, now these guides are very old so im guessing things have changed of late.

Adam, who is your ISP?
In autoexec you can type commands such as cl_showfps "1" or do binds/scripts, it usually bypasses config binds for the keys you made special binds for in autoexec. It also doesn't change when you change something inside the game, unlike the config file gets overwritten by the game. I've never used it, even in 1.6 I just put 'READ ONLY' on config file, there's no need to use it IMO.Hi guys, I have been looking into my settings of late and have read a lot about rates and the like. I've done everything tried different drivers, I'm update my Xonar drivers, I use the modded UNi Xonar drivers which never caused me any issues. I never had these fps drops before, my pc should run this game silky smooth on 400-500 stable with my config depending on the map... It no wonder that VOLVO messed it up again...Yeah I get this too, I updated audio drivers last night and it seemed to help a lot but still every now and then it drops from 200+ to 60 and feels horrible for 2-3 seconds.
Don't worry, its not your ISP. I'm on 100mb virgin package and have this same issue with this game, my pings in other games are anything between 8-30ms...Plusnet fibre. It's very sporadic though and doesn't happen in every game.
