Yep, my FPS on public MM servers is anything between 360-450fps on mirage. I'm still experiencing a lag for 5 sec every 5-10min...

What stuttering??
For me I run close to 300fps and its very smooth, You dont enable Vsync do you or cap your FPS??
Stepping back from CS for a few months to focus on exams/dissertation....ptting too many hours into it at the moment. Cya in summer

You removed the 300fps cap?? Might have something to do with it..
I cap in at 70 every time. Might actually put it into autoexec...
Anyway, reason for jumping in here, is there a casual 'clan' I could join? Could really do with some team based fun.

Mine is set at 200. Don't need any more. Sometimes i think of putting it down to ~150.
As MoDe posted, that list of players is quite good. There is the TS listed on there too. Just jump on TS and check who is on.

You should never cap frame rate mate on csgo. It effects you hit reg.
Mirage is supposed to be quite hard to play against better people as there are very powerful smokes that can be used to really test the CT side and if as T no-one on your side knows smokes to gain entry to the sites your just walking into a death trap a lot of the time. Same with some other maps.
Maps like Cbble are different as they are less played by many so standard smokes are less common.

I see a lot of people in the silver to Gold Nova range on here. Some people offer advice on how to get better but in my opinion the a lot of the advice is a bit wrong.
The best advice anyone can give you is whatever you do, just do it faster.
If you peak a corner, peak and hide again and fire a shot if you think you see someone.
If you are looking at short on D2 from platform behind the boxes, peak and move, peak and move.
The more you do it the faster you'll become and you'll get your rank up easily.
Also if you want to leave the silver ranks, play without nades. You won't die as many times due to messing around with flashes and such.
