CS:GO Discussion

I think this tournament has the potential for upsets due to Fnatic not looking as impossible to beat as they have in the past (still no.1 imo) and not to mention with the french shuffle & TSMs dip in form.

It's going to be a blast doe!

I have to admit i hate calling, mainly becuase people don't listen anyway.

I essentially ask people to do something lead the charge and then wait for the excuses as to why I've just been baited.

"we were blind"
"blocking"

indecisiveness is probably one of the most irritating things about csgo.

calling isn't that bad.
problem is people don't know how to execute basic things like rush and worse of all most people don't know how to use smokes as a concept(i'm not talking about i've seen him do it, i'll do the same.) For me the smoke concept is completely reversed between cs 1.6 and csgo and maybe that's why i was able to grasp is easily.
oh, and let's not even start on things like 3v2/4v3 with bmb planted but playing Rambo style gun blazing and getting hs'ed, instead of safe, slow approach

people who know better on eco rounds and go alone annoy me too.

purpose of an eco is get guns and or bomb plant. you don't have to win!

from my exp if you see a guy going alone somewhere and at least trading a kill he's fine, scares the other one, makes them play safer, should rotate slower.
the problem is when someone goes alone and dies, 3-4 rounds in a row(did that once, said fk it, went with team).

also thinking you're the best player on the server goes so much. You've got to know your limits(simpler said than done).

The worst is when you plan to rush.

You get flashed in the process, and 3 of your team just stop dead in their tracks.
As a result, you're the only one running into a site and get kapwned :(

Never liked Fnatic especially, I'd be quite happy if gaps in their armour were found more often, I imagine Envy should win but have to see the games first

CLG are a good shout, NIP always start slow.

luminosity vs kinguin and they have got lumi. id go the other way personally.

We got the first upset, Brazilians take it, Im pretty surprised myself but went with it :D

CLG should have won but are flawed, Nip are just more of a quality experienced team and they know how to calmly take advantage in a game 13-16 that made the difference

indecisiveness is probably one of the most irritating things about csgo.
information is the counter to that I think as people will move more confidently if they can visualise whats on the other side. Choking up in one place and taking a nade is a disaster :D

Games now - Envy beat LG and I think Nip is ok as small underdog as TSM stalled slightly

yeah and it's an eco so it doesn't matter anyway but to top it off you get the kill and then get killed by the other guy because no cover :D

not grouping up for fear of nades is just retarded too. I can honestly say In 7/8 years of playing competitive CS I've never lost more than 3 players to a double nade on long or tunnels.

But I've seen many a lost round due to people pushing out of site for no reason or not pushing becuase flashbanged :D or taking their time to make the decision to plant on the taken site or not.

Information is useless if people don't act on it which again brings me back to that indecisiveness which boils my ****.

those 5 seconds ****ing around in tunnels instead of planting literally can win a round.

but yeah i don't play much without people i don't know for a reason :D

yea but thing is those cobble packs almost always give out storm skins. Its heart breaking lol
But yea should go up

NIP losing that bad is sad (but also a repeat), maybe its true they need to warm up. I guess their old now :p rip magic
LG was the better bet even if they lost, I think they do better vs top tier on the fringe maps.

Anyone betting against vp on 92% isnt it destiny they lose or nearly lose it
:p

Navi and C9 or Titan and mouz might be smarter on bo1

I think I will stack c9 but low titan which might be the oppisite of correct :o

got a sick cache drop :D

opened it

Laughing at people selling cobblestone souvenirs for £20 ha

I have 2 drops from the last major, Inferno and Dust II. I still have them on the market for €11.50 each. Should get €10 after deductions. Opened 2 packages I got in 2 other majors and I got a very bad skin. If nobody will buy them I'll have to open them I guess haha

Want to watch some games but also want to do some MM. So my twitch and steam accounts are linked how exactly do I receive these boxes? Do they just appear in your Inventory?

Pretty much yes. You'll look at your inv and you'll see a drop.

I see. Watching the live games there is a small flash box which shows recent winners, CS has come a lonnnnnnnnnng way in terms of spectator sport. Valve have done a lot of work on the UI, I like the "pick 'em predictions" meter too.
