CS:GO Discussion

Silvers.....silvers everywhere.

The obviously know where he is due to calls....but lets ignore that or game sense or that statistically flusha is one of the best players on the planets..

agreed.
So easy to call hackers when you have spec mode on - as iv said before it makes anyone look like a hacker if you spin it that way

So just done a MM and 2 of our team quit on round 5 so it was a 3 v 5 till they won, surely they should be a system in place to just let you end the game quicker, i'd rather have a loss than have to play through that again.

Jumped on MM after a week of not playing. Currrently MGE. Got into a game, 3 kids on my team singing and screaming random **** in a eastern European accent during warmup. I quit after the 3rd round.

I was told to bet Mouz by two pundits, I never know with euro teams so didnt bet. 50 sounds quite big for a random game or was it more. Mouz are an upset team is my guess/take i dont know why

let you end the game quicker
vote surrender, I presume it reduces elo lost but many people never use it. Overuse might lead to cooldown, possibly why

screaming random
I had a nice game in new york again yesterday near win but as it was solo queue it was still a bit silly but not russian crazy so can rarely complain much in comparison. 4 people walking off bomb to die separately 1 by 1 to the last T and so on but thats par for mg

The gifs are a bad idea because it lets people piece isolated incidents together, at least judge suspicion on one match.
I thought this guy was cheating, unfortunately I couldnt argue its proof at all but a similar vein i guess (i think gifs arguing aimlock but that is more rigid/abrupt afaik)

one small ban but quite prompt done by end of week. Only a few other bans I see mostly of casual players, I believe they are fastracked

What plugin is that Silversurfer re the bans?

Had a game tonight with Rochie helping him get through his 10 games to a rank, The game was MG1/MG2 ranks. We got smashed at T on Dust 2 4:11 with us only really coming into the game in the last 4-5 rounds and the team were a bit frustrating with really silly plays. E.g we push to A from A long and i get on site and engage as entry fragger only to find my entire team running around still at A long instead of supporting.

We lost 3-4 rounds we really should have won. After a few non-ragey but quite stern words from myself to the team during the changeover to CT we finally got our act together with me micro managing each players position.Once we had set positions and I got the team moving properly my god it was like a breath of fresh air. It was as if the team suddenly got some confidence and structure everyone started performing, and with every round coming our way we got happier and played better to the point we were shutting them down within 30-45 seconds to 4CT v 1T most rounds.

After securing 15v12 we had a 4 v 1 scenario where all of our guys died trying to knife the last guy (which did rile me a bit) but we shut them down on the last round 16-13

My game play became a lot better in the second half, I'm really struggling with the AK again, i started to get better then turned really bad then about a week or two ago i started to pick it up again but it's gone to pot again. VERY inconsistent with AK at the moment which is hurting my game. FYI I am SODIUM CHLORIDE

Rochie did really well and we had a chat about the game afterwards where i think i talked until his ears bled. Important thing is we both walked away with something to think about after that game.

Getting these 10 wins is starting to take forever, people don't seem to follow instructions and make silly plays.

Just played where we were losing to a 4v5 and some how managed to pull it back to a 15-15 tie.

I've won 4 and must have lost 8 now.

Solo is slowly starting to be the death of me.

was getting called a hacker last night on D2.

few things that stick in my mind were

as Terrorist

hitting some shots as terrorist with awp at mid doors (2 occasions i hit the player jumping across - 1 kill, 1 leg)

hitting someone through smoke on long doors (xbox was smoked and i could see his feet underneath - he was on CT side of mid doors)

wallbanging someone a few times through mid doors (i could clearly see he was running to play either close left or right of mid doors)

as CT

mid doors was smoked and i was spamming above the smoke towards the corner by barrels (managed a HS)

i mean i can see why they would call me a hacker but even a silver scrub could work out that i was making legit plays.

Last night was... interesting

Im intrigued... tell us more lol.

Side note, found the chrome extension for steam bans and appears 2 people ive played against in MM in the last 7 days have been banned. One game was a draw and the other we lost. Both games I called out these two for hacking and reported them (people at the time saw me as being salty lol)

Right, so I have been out of the CS scene since 1.6 (don't laugh at the back) so what do I need to know before I dive into CS:GO? What's all this crate stuff I see videos of on YT? Are they like Advanced Warfare's Supply Drops?

Is this still the game that I loved back in the early 2000's in that you have a team (CT's or T's) and you then win rounds and get money to spend on guns in that round? No silly XP levels etc like in CoD games?

I really want to get back into playing this but know to start with I am going to get slayed and called all sorts of horrible names by other players.

Crates a just a way of Valve selling you skins for weapons. Open a crate and it might be a 1p skin or a £300 skin. These make no difference to game play or anything and are purely cosmetic.

Yes 100% but there is also XP but once again this is cosmetic its more of an indication of how long people have played more than anything else, you don't unlock any guns or anything like that. But you are required to be level 3 before you can play a competitive match.

How do you pull up the recent played page? I can see my friends list regarding bans.

I usually just opt for lol if i get accused :D

it's always teh guy reloading a p90 after every kill that cries anyway and they always accuse a guy who is like 3- 8 of cheating.

I find people just call hacks if they die a few times to headshots, and some times makes them consider "throwing" the game due to it.

And to be honest most "hackers" are so bad they can't actually use them to there advantage lol and just still suck as bad.
