Is it me or are there more hackers than ever?

Last night we had two hackers on my regular server both with speedhack, aimbot and wallhack, making the game pointless.

In the end I manged to pwn one of them by pretending to me afk at spawn and when the came to knife me I blew his <bleep>ing head off with a deagle at point blank :)

Anyway, my point is why do people do this? What is the point in even playing the game like that, is it really just to annoy other players? Or am I missing the point. Would anyone who regually hacks like to help me get into the mindset?
 
Me neither.......I am really having problems getting my head around this, are there really so many losers out who get their kicks this way?
 
I knew a guy who used to use hacks, he just did it for the fun of it.
Without hacks he was a pretty good player as well.

Hacks don't make people unbeatable though, as me and another mate proved...

THE DAY THE HACKER GOT WASTED

It was a late , one wintery night,, with the winds roaring and the embers burning. We <X , Y and Z> , 'Y' herewith known as 'Haxor' , both X and Z known as 'Players' challenged the Haxor to a game ......... The Haxor laughed , I will kill you, two lame non cheaters versus me , god, etc .... lol ..... the challenge commenced, the gauntlet was laid, and reputation was on the line ....

Within minutes the people involved spung into action, and the game server was setup, everyone was in , and the game commenced.....


After five rounds or so , it was five to the players , nil to the Haxor .... and then things went from bad to worse for the Haxor .....



EIGHTEEN - TWO the score went <to the players team> ,, at about this point the players were wondering why they were playing ..??

TWENTY - FOUR the score went <to the players team> ,, at this point the players were wondering why they were playing ..??

To end ayway , the Haxor had to end the game with his tail between his legs <due to Players getting bored> Har Har , why not ... L337, My ArS3 !!!

Gotta say my Scout skills increased dramatically after practising against someone speedhacking about the place :)

They get their kicks by annoying other people on the server and yes, there are many of them about, even more so now that the schools are off on holiday with kids getting bored.

Since VAC is a delayed-ban system you'll always get "hackers" at some point in-game that's why I only play on servers like UKCS who have good/lots of admins.
 
What you have got to remember is even some good players don't treat CSS or any other game differently to what it is... a game. I'm relatively good at Css and so is a friend of mine who i play with most of the time. He went through a stage of trying out hacks on public servers. Partly trying them out and seeing if they were VAC proof, but also for a laugh. It is funny when its your side that is doing it without a doubt. However there is a line and I do agree there are 2 specific types of hackers, those having a laugh and the annoying kiddies trying to spoil everyone elses night. But if you don't like it join one of the other 9000 servers :)
 
Last time I played CSS which was about 2 years ago the hacking was pretty bad but then CS has always been infamous for hacking. Doesn't really bother me though since I don't play it :p

I think a lot of people who are talking about hackers are also classing good players tbh. There aren't that many hackers or good hackers anyway on public servers nowadays.
 
Just go onto a server that has a good set of admins. You will get the odd kid but they are soon kicked off.

I play on two good community servers and we have no problems with hackers.

Well like I said I haven't played lately and I don't call anybody a hacker. Im talking of the dead obvious ones which was clear back then. they would be running at like 50mph and headshotting everyone before you heard the "go go go".
 
I got banned multiple times for hacking. A lot of people running CSS servers dont seem to understand that the reason you shot them through the wall is because there is ALWAYS someone hiding there. When you crawl through the vent in assault, you always shoot up the ladder half way along before you get there because someone is always vent camping. Things like that.
 
Thing about CSS imo there was like a lot of wtf shots? for example I was banned because I got 3 headshots on DE_Dust 2 when you go through the doors and there were 3 enemies killed them all with headshots but I just sprayed because I thought I was fk'd due to the small space to move. Banned for that. And i don't know the hitboxes just seem weird?
 
I can't fathom how/why entire clans hack. I can almost understand why a lot of people cheat in CS though. It's definately not a newbie friendly game and I guess some people get really frustrated and instead of finding a different game they resort to cheating to win.
 
People don't just hack because they suck at the game or whatever. A lot of people especially the actual coders do it to prove a point that they can't be banned by PB or whatever. Others do it because it p's people off and gets them mad.
