CSS Hacking

Most of the kids on CSS can't take dying, so as soon as you get a good kill in, maybe a little flukey it's just lots of "OMGADS!!1 H4X!!!".

I have little problem with hackers, but i have a problem with people accusing me of hacking every time i get a good score. its just pathetic

enjoy the immature cs/css community.

A majority of cheats though just do it to wind other people up. Its those that take a public game of cs so seriously that they rant and rage who keep them cheating.

sounds weird, but i enjoy playing on unprotected servers, is very good for training, if you manage to stay at the top of a leader board in a hacking server, on a normal server, its just funny, they think you hack lol

The plus point is: killing a hacker makes you feel (and look!) good.

Rack up 2 or 3 kills against them in a row and they'll soon leave the server voluntarily. Often easier said than done though . . .

I've tried out hacks on public servers before, purely to see what it's like - sure it's fun to use wallhack and try to make yourself look convincing, but the fun doesn't last long.

However one thing that shocked me is how many people that you presume are just good, are actually hacking! I've played on servers with regulars who are accepted by the others as just being really good players and it wasn't until I tried out a wallhack that I realised he was using it too, just very very convincingly!

In a similar vein, I always laugh to myself when people on a server are adamant someone isn't hacking and is just extremely good . . . because they're an admin . . .

Yeah, my clan demos and records before banning. Unless its pretty damn obvious, and in that case they are banned straight away. Hackers/cheaters are not welcome in our servers and will be dealt with almost immediately. Source's demos have a lot of interesting features, which enable you to see through walls, and its amazing the amount of times you see people trackign them through walls.

People treat good players liek hackers anyway. Whats the difference to a regular player between a very good player and a hacker, none they still die every time they see you so I can relate with them.

I think a lot of people who are talking about hackers are also classing good players tbh. There aren't that many hackers or good hackers anyway on public servers nowadays.

na just not true, yes there are good players out there but there are equally as many cheaters. don't support game companies if you think they don't do enough to combat cheats.

and good players who cheat. even managed to record tweety wall hacking on a steambans server earlier :). trouble is once these bums see you go into sectator mode they usually stop all the hax. hero to zero in 2sec flat.

at the mo i play on a fairly damn good server, ranked 5th in the world(on hlstatsx) for average rank of players, so fairly intense server. there are people who have admitted hacking and say they don't anymore, not hugely convincingly. there are people who are suspected hackers who are just very good at it.

its all a crock, it can take hours or demo'ing certain players to catch them in a point where theres no way they can deny it. you can just happen to be strafing along looking through a wall wiping your hand or something and a demo might show you appearing to track a player through the wall.

the speed hacks are insanely obvious, one quick demo, a minute is all you need grab their steam ID and get them banned by VAC for life. aimbotting, a crap one would just heatshot 15 people in one round and same thing can happen. you can have a aimbot set not to go for headshots though, or turn one on and off to have bad rounds and then it becomes incredibly difficult to prove. same goes for wallhacks, as long as they play normally its incredibly hard to prove. a lot of "top" players preshoot at spots people often camp in, some do it because they have wallhacks. again VERY VERY difficult to prove. i think again its a demo they guys for days, if you run through a door and there are 5 places to hide and the wallhacker chooses the right one more than 50% of the time then they are bullNO SWEARING.

i've only really been playing CS:S like semi seriously, as in often on a good server for a month or two, a week or two here or there over the past few years so i haven't played much. So i do get a lot of , OMG< haxor, NO SWEARINGgoing on, but there are servers where good admins will simply prove you're good and not cheating.

really want to get into a competitive clan now but no idea how to go about getting into a very active clan that doesn't have too many players already.

Oh yeah, as for the players just wanting to TEST some hacks, thats completely valid, hard to really know if other players are/aren't hacking unless you know what some look like. but you can choose an empty server, start your own and use bots to test NO SWEARING like that. absolutely NO need ever to just go into a random server and beat the crap out of people.

I really have no idea if you can get onto steam easily and in game online with a pirate copy or not. if you can, then vac bans aren't really going to be doing much for anyone. the threat of being banned off steam should be big for anyone that wants to play seriously, but for anyone thats hacked an account or got it free with something, they just don't care.

AFAIK valve are very very slow with banning people, think VAC is great and really take a lot of persuading to ban people. :(

if i was running my own server and hackers jumped on and said they were just really good. I'd switch on my admin hacks just to see if they were just skillful or were cheating.

At the end of the day if its your server whoever you say is hacking IS hacking and you ban them. bye bye :)

I find that hackers are actually really good players anyway, and are just cheating for some fun from the game as they've played it so much. I've used cheats for CS before, but only on hacker servers, and it was really fun. You also learn where people come from and other things from cheating. People always say that hackers are noobs who can't play the game well, but that's false from my experience, they are very good players.

Also, because I have used cheats before, when loads of people call someone a hacker with aimbot, they are usually wrong. That's why the better players tend not to play public games.

I was on a server the other day just warming up before a clan training session. cs_office the map was and there was this one guy who was constantly spinning round. I thaught to begin with that there was somthing wrong with his mouse but then watching him play, he was able to kill ppl while spinning ver fast on the spot with an AK. Watching on deathcam made my quite ill but was still fun to watch as you see a guy spin round all the time lol. Definatly a aim bot and he did say that he was seeing what the aimbots were all about then said he would leave because he was doing well with it lol. Good guy to talk too.

Spinbot, comes with MSX hacks, along with aimbot etc auto shoot auto aim. can't beat abit of CSS+MSX to wind some of the serious players up. especially if they are french :)

I get that a lot on cs:s :( on both publics and even on official ladder matches :(

Altho I have noticed quite a lot of cheaters since the latest patch for some reason  the other night we played a clan and at first their server was non-pure. Then when we finally got them to do sv_pure 2, they were pre-firing people all the time and on one round we stayed around spawn on de_nuke as T's and suddenly they all come round the corner within seconds of us getting on the roof?

I also notice the source engine isn't that brilliant when it comes to reg/netcode :( gets so frustrating. I can see why people stick with 1.6.

Check out www.enemydown.co.uk and go to the recruitment section. You can view recruiting clans, their ranks and how many players they have.

Even if a good clan isn't recruiting, it's worth sticking around on their server. If you play well consistantly, I've found they'll usually ask you if you want in.

Jesus, French players really cannot shutup when they get killed. What's even worse is some pre-pubescant French kid singing down the mic. Thank God for the mute player selection.
