CSS Hacking

i've yet to actually see a hacker in CSS yet and i've had it and played it on and off since the release. I usually only play scrims over Mix vent though so it would be extremely stupid for one of the users to hack since he'd just get blacklisted.

I dont really play CSS much but i thought id make a comment after reading some of the posts, i mortaly hate hackers, im an admin on an ET server which is very harsh in its protection of our regulars.
To those who say 'we use haxs for fun or to just try them out' then moan the most when they are banned saying the usual rubbish 'Ohh it wasnt me my brother/sister/dad was using them eariler'
or
'Why would i cheat im just uber and you cant handle it, your server is s***, i dont care if im banned' then why do they post in the forums saying they werent cheating even though the majority of our admins agree.
My point being even those who use a Hax once and are found out, admins will use a harder policy to catch cheaters when one is found on a server and that leads to some good players being banned unjustly and since admins wont want to appear weak willed the ban will stay and lots of moaning and bad mouthing occurs. which may give the server a bad reputation.

I mean, Speedb0t/aimb0t, cs_office. As soon as you go, you're at the oppositions side of the map, and they're all dead.

what irritating about it all is, like you said if someones using the crazy ass speed hack added to a spinning aimbot they can kill the whole team within seconds, surely valve can find a way to get a semi decent detection and simply instantly ban those guys for life. fed up with guys coming in to hack, even when its totally obvious and causes 10 mins of grief a decent server will, for the sack of trying to help everyone have to go spec, record demo's, make sure he has the info and then ban the guy from the server, then they try and get valve to ban the ip.
I hear people talking about playing public games and how they hate it now. its all a pain as because i've only just started to play semi seriously i feel like, well, a noob. i don't know of any good private servers and passwords, i don't play clan games(yet) and i can't really get away from the complete idiots. even on the server i play on which has, i think 12(including me) of the top 50 uk ranked players playing in it most of the time, which makes it a very tough/hard server to play on, we get hackers come in. some guys who are just irritating and a couple guys that when they are on the same team and have had any level of caffeine are the most irritating pair of people ever. yet on diff teams and not hyper or fine

i was once a clan admin and i learned a lot about hacks.before i was naive and happy to respect good players.after i was cynical and sceptical about all.my main problem is that most who cry "haxor!" are meerly seeing lag and too many apparent good players are using subtle haxx.
i'm one of those weirdos who actually relish a challenge and my cup of tea is medal of honour spearhead online.i only ever use a bolt action rifle or a pistol and,occasionally,when my head is in gear i can play well.almost every single time i get accused of hacking.it pizzes me off.so suspicious are we that genuine non-haxx get slagged because lag makes them appear to fire through walls and worst of all having intimate knowledge of the map and anticipating opponents moves instantly labels you as a glowskin boy.
it cranks me but i dont show it for it is the great unwashed i'm talking about.
dunno bout CSS but in moh its apparent that the coned aimbot is about.its adjustable so that you can reduce the number of headshots and even miss occasionally.try picking that one out.
with all haxx i dont understand why because if you consistently dally that little crosshair over a target you will eventually hit it and work out the hitbox movement for oneself.

I used to play CSS a lot. Id made tons of friends on that game. I went to play it again resently and i found out 15 of my friends had been banned. Why is that i asked, they all hacked!
Its rediculas. To all you players who do play CSS do you know the Tesside servers? they are very popular. I was rank 2 with the AK on the italy 24/7 way back then and the rank 1 person was only around 150-200 kills away from me and id been gaining on them fast as the AK was pritty much the only gun i used haha. I then got banned for some mysterious reason.

if anyone didn't know teeside are a bunch of plonker admins with a pretty stupid server. they hate bingobongo and ban anyone with the name or who mentions them. its also why bingobongo is one of the top ranked uk servers and teeside doesn't get a mention.

This was some years ago might i add as i stoped playing a few months after.
Tesside admins are a bit rediculas sometimes. I never did find out why i got banned. I suspect it was because i spent a lot of time on that server and raped everyone on CT side haha
I did like that server though, i was invited into PETs shortly before i got banned but desided to stop playing instead. They were really good players, they broke up though. Dunno why.

I got permabanned from all their servers for posting a picture of their fat admin on their crappy forums

although it's not css, one late night me and a friend of mine wer on vent just messing around on d2 24/7 (cs 1.6) on pretty much a full server and i was fairly damn sure about 75% of the players wer wh'ing! so i loaded up my spare account and stuck a wallhack on it just to test to see how many players wer actually hacking, and it's soo funny to see! you start walking toward a corner and you can see them with a nade in their hand then quickly switch to a gun due to them seeing you walking! and half of them are actually just stareing at you through the wall and waiting for you to pop round!

people just wanna think there good by using stealthy hacks like where the aimbot is bound to use mouse click. i used hacks just to annoy people on 1.6 but id never use them on css even if i really wanted to annoy someone i cudnt be doing with getting me real steam account banned it too much money to lose.
I find there will be periods of time where we don't see a hacker on our server for weeks, then suddenly we'll have 5 in a night. Must coincide with the release of new hacks or something. I find the obvious speedhacking-aimbotting-radio spamming variety LESS annoying than those that try and hide it and go on about how they've played since they were knee high to a grasshopper etc....
I've also found the very best way to detect a hacker:
Randomly, for no reason type 'voteban'. Make no mention of names or anything.
The hacker will immediately type 'WHO?' or 'I DONT HACK!'

It is a good server though, Italy is by far the best map i think
