Mine was still level 4.. I got a new one and that instantly level 14, I'm not sure how it works.

Noticed my pet hasn't really levelled much either. I'm level 9 and he's only 2 yet I've had him since I was level 1. :confused:

Ah, that is odd. I have two more pet foods. One for penguin and one for owl i think. I'd like to get the Turtle, would be useful for me to have a tank.

So are there open servers you can join with randoms or do you need to organise a group and start a server? Just wondering as none of my friends have gaming pc's.

Quite liking the look of this game actually. How deep do the RPG elements go or is mainly about exploring? May wait till it is slightly more complete then put some money towards it.

mostly exploring at the moment. You can level your character, craft gear and upgrade skills etc.

Actually thinking about it, there's more than I thought. Think Skyrim lite at the moment. You can see with their plans where they're taking it though.

I don't think there is any plans to wipe characters at all considering how long it takes to level up.

I never use that ability that crashes the server so it isn't my fault!!

Everything is stored locally, your char is on your PC.

I noticed this when installing cubeworld on the mac as a frame rate test, it ran really badly and no character

It's not a competitive game so I don't see the problem. Would ruin the fun if you cheat anyway.

Competition will come into it as they will be doing PVP, however people will cheat to advance level up, to get the best gear. Happened in Terraria with hacked characters. However it ended up being server mods/privi server options that only characters on that server could be used.
