Might take a look there myself. Spent about an hour with it this morning and realised I've forgotten everything. Struggled to beat enemies to begin with but managed to battle through an arena with a bit of a cheaty strategy and some range.

Think I'll keep going with it for a few weeks at least, see if I can get to most of the environments
 
It's surprisingly hard to get started (unlike the alpha) but when you suddenly get a blue or purple weapon to drop the difficulty curve changes.
