Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra performance

I think I'll wait a while to get this game, wait for the dust to settle. I don't think it's worth getting a 3080 for. Maybe a 3070 will do me for RTX fix in Control etc. After playing The Witcher 3 recently and getting stuck on water down a well in the first 2 hours of gameplay does not fill me with confidence they will fix this game.

im pritty sure the 7700k does cut it actually. im on a 1080ti and running this game on high is 60fps at 1080p. ultra it dips to 55-57 but mostly stays at 60.going higher resolution is lower fps but this is not down to the cpu..this is down the gpu not being powerfull enough and the optimisation of the game. in the city cpu is at 24% usage. if the cpu was an issue it would be pegd at 100% and my gpu would not be working at 100%.

CPU: i7 4790K @ 4.4GHz
GPU: EVGA 1080Ti
RAM: 32GB DDR3
Game on SSD, Windows on a seperate SSD
My rig is normally a monster when it comes to performance,”

People can stop reading that now.

People are saying they are getting double performance in some cases by making the game use all available memory (system and vram)

If you got a a good amount of spare ram you get a huge performance boost

This fix also makes the game load about 80% faster

dunno if its just a personal preference thing but when i had the game i turned it up to ultra settings and it didnt look all that good till i turned off that film grain option in the settings. that just made it look bad to me. dunno if other people liked it.

I generally keep those things on, but when even John Linnerman from DF said turn it off, along with chromatic aberration (and he usually likes those) it's best to take note.

I gotta say, the loading times are pretty good anyway. I think it's a few seconds from loading a save game to being in the game.

is it possible those settings are in there as minimums? since reviewers did show that the game does use well over 3gb vram.
