Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra performance

feels per second?:D

So the CSV mem settings does nothing for me but the exe change for AMD cpu helps

First part with it enabled, all cores used properly. Last part is with original exe.

FPS wise running around the same street after load
- AMD exe = 75-80
- original exe = 70-75

Below is with original exe at a different location

With slightly tweaked DF settings
- DLSS performance = 75-80
- DLSS balanced = 66-70
- DLSS quality = 57-60 starting to feel really laggy when moving around

And sticking with DLSS quality

RT off = 93-103
RT reflections = 69-73
RT reflections + med lighting = 57-60
RT reflections + shadows + med lighting = 51-54
RT reflections + shadows + psycho lighting = 43-47

I prefer DF tweaked setting using DLSS performance + nvidia sharpening than running with RT off in this game. It's not really a fast paced shooter

AMD really needs a DLSS competitor. It's fidelity FX up scaler and sharpening leaves much to be desired, it gets hammered by DLSS 2.0 in both performance and especially in visuals

DLSS is proprietary tech - it is NOT DirectML. It also ruins texture quality with TAA. A total fudge.

I can't tell the difference between native and quality DLSS in Cyberpunk.
That's taking 2 screenshots and comparing them over top of each other (they switch when hovering the mouse over).

I only notice a small difference going from quality to balanced, but setting DLSS to performance does ruin the IQ.

I honesty find it hard to believe that somebody can tell the difference between native res and quality DLSS in Cyberpunk. I'm not saying you can't, but it's certainly not "a total fudge" :D

No issues playing on a 3090 at 1440p RT Ultra (DLSS Auto), seems most complaining are raging because they lack the hardware.

DLSS may look blurry sometimes due to object distance as there are less pixels to upscale, given data of the object exists ingame I suspect Nvidia will improve it a lot in the future, same for AMD.

You can see a blurring effect but it's definitely not a total fudge and given the perf upgrade is surely worth it to some :p

That is definitely something I agree with. Regardless of what I think about DLSS, from a consumers point of view, if I see a graph with DLSS and then AMD wayyyyyyyy behind in those graphs, it's not helping AMD make sales. EDIT: One thing I would really like is for it to be available in significantly more titles. The resulting move from 1.0 to 2.0 is was impressive from a tech stand point, I hope they do improve it (Again, even if I personally don't think it is swaying to purchases for me right now given it's very limited usage).

So you see no problem with running at 1440p and sticking DLSS on, and a $1500+ GPU not being able to render fast enough, so much so that you stick it on auto rather than quality for example? Sure... it's the 'raging' of people without sufficient hardware. (Says the person that has top end hardware and still seems to need to use it.).

I just set the graphics setting to RT Ultra profile and then started playing, initially I thought DLSS would make it blurry given my experience in War Thunder but I had no issues.

To be expected as the base ps4 is ancient. In a way they were tricking console players by showing off high end PC graphics. The ps4 pro and one x will fair a little better but still way off what CDPR were showing. Only next gen consoles will give a decent experience and i would hazard a guess that's probably the correct time to play this buggy mess on PC as if they mess that up then that's a lot of next gen gamers with a bad opinion of CDPR.

I wasn't happy with dlss at all, and even turned all rtx features off so I didn't have to use it.

Until I turned on Nvidia's image sharpening setting in NVCP. Looks great now :)
So DLSS + Image sharpening? what percentage do you put the sharpening to, ive never used it but I do notice the game is a bit blurry/soft with the TAA + DLSS. Also DLSS causes some stuff to shimmer ive noticed.

With regards to DLSS, I think it really depends on what resolution you are starting out with.

For instance, I was playing at 4K with DLSS 2.0 set to 'performance', which means it was upscaling from 1080p and I thought that looked pretty good with Digital Foundry suggested settings + Ray Tracing

However, if you are playing on a 1080p monitor anyway, then DLSS performance is going to be upscaling from 960x540, so you are going to run in to more issues with image quality. Ultra Performance will be more like 640x360!
