*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I finally bit the bullet and purchased CyberPunk 2077 today, was hoping we could Pre-Load already haha!

Choo Choo Thomas, Choo Choo, all aboard the hype train.

I've also just booked a trip back to the UK from Netherlands to visit family, and due to self isolation for 2 weeks, I've obviously had to extend the trip a week so I can then see friends and family after isolation... I booked it this morning and after I told my wife the dates, her first response...

"You come back on the 22nd November?"
'Yea.. What about it?'
"Really??? What happens on the 19th???"
'OH ****'

So no day 1 play for me :(

I just got an email which shows I moved up two positions on my Asus TUF 3080 pre-order since last week. I am hoping once AMD show their hands there will be loads of people canceling their cards :D

Trouble right now is there has been no deliveries at all since launch. Asus are really taking the piscuit.

i loved the witcher and i sure hope that they can provide the same quality with cyberpunk.. however i will wait for a sale maybe.. ;] so many games to play still

We're both massive gaming nerds, it's glorious. Aside from the one time she got hooked on trading in Black Desert Online, kept waking up at 5am to check the game and went full on feral as a result... Good times.
 
I need to get this ordered, I've already booked the time off work to play when it comes out. It was a shame it didn't come out in April whilst I was Furloughed but I'm also glad it didn't as I've got it to play at the end of November.
 
Think I might get this and if I can't play at high settings minus RTX features, then I'll add it to back catalogue till I get a new pc in a couple years.

Don't mind waiting for the GOTY edition tbh with all the dlc and expansions, I have lots of other games to play.

That's what I'll be doing, grabbing in a sale when all the dlc and expansions are out.
Did the same for the Witcher 3, which I still haven't played (one day :))
Plenty of games to keep me occupied until then.

I bought Witcher 3 on release got halfway, stopped for 6 months after I lost my saves. Then came back to it last year with the goty edition and completed it within 2 months. It's a brilliant game. If you do hang on, there is a next gen patch coming out sometime next year.

How did you jump back in? I've not played since shortly after release due to my saves being lost but every time I try and play again I remember what's going on and it puts me off..
