*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

If you enjoy RPGs and add to the fact you already have 3 Witcher games to go from by CD Projekt Red. I don't see the harm in pre-ordering. Might as well pre-order and preload the game to save waiting. If it's absolutely terrible both Steam and GOG allow refunds. I'm struggling to see the issue.

Oh I quite agree, I've preordered plenty of games and have no issue with doing so but it is amusing to see people who have been vehemently against preorders suddenly changing their stance with this title :)

Don't understand the pre-ordering hate, its just another train people like to jump on cause there's lots of people already on it. People can made their own decision based on footage they've seen, developers they trust, and a gamble their willing to take.

Parts of the internet have become unbearable in regards to this game now. I can't even enjoy talking about it anywhere but here because of how unhinged people seem to be

Unfortunately preload wasn't up when I left for work so I guess I'll start that when I go to sleep tomorrow morning
Imagine being this bothered about other people on the internet lol

I know you're just playing a character here but honestly, it's not "people" as in "some people" but the overarching mindset of humans in general. Like how bloody pathetic so many are

The whole mindset that people on the internet aren't real people is kinda daft too

Steam pre-load completed - thank God I got fibre last Friday :D Peaked at 104 MB/s so the steam servers must be getting hammered - normally it maxes out at 115 MB/s.

Well, the first 2 Witcher games were arse and the 3rd was tedious as hell after 20 hours. :p

I'd hardly call them arse. They were of course, not without their flaws, but for a dev's first two games ever?
1 had clunky combat but the story, characters and world building completely overshadowed any of those issues. 2 was mostly just marred by trying to make a game for multiple platforms and by being slightly too linear

Combat let down all 3 games badly, its an extremely key part of an RPG.

Anyway, hopefully this is a great game and the story doesnt mask all the bang average bits of the game like W3.

Yea I quit the W1 early days, W2 got 16 hours from me before I never went back but W3 took 2 attempts to get into then lost over 80 hours to it - when I say "lost" I happily gave them away.

CP2077 is preloading now. Can't play until Saturday evening though :(

It's why I'm buying on Steam, if I hate the first hour or 2 or it's just an unpolished turd, then I should be able to just refund it.
